My son is playing 7th grade football. He is a great running back for the most part, very fast, agile, tough. But he is having trouble reading the blocks, which obviously doesn't always result in the best play possible. With a team of 70+ players, the coach can't offer much individual assistance.

Does anyone have any tips on how he can improve in this area? Tricks or clues on reading his teammates body language, or easy drills he could do with just a few friends rather than a whole line? Or even any helpful literature we could check out. Thanks for your help!

What does it mean in a LLWS game when it says under MPH MLB MPH like it'll say 67 MPH MLB MPH 88 what does the MLB part mean is that like a calculation or something?

I was at a spring training game in Arizona and I saw the Mariners play. Yuniesky Betencourt was running down the base line to beat out a bunt and he did, but turned the wrong way and Adrain Gonzalez just tagged him out!

ALL THREE are franchise players. Although none of them have had chemistry problems, they are all used to being the centre of their respective teams. Also they are all used to scoring all their teams' points. Pierce had 25 PPG, Garnett 22 and Allen 26 for their teams. Each of them averaged 4 assists per game.
They are all used to having the ball GIVEN to them to SCORE. They have noone to rack up assists, and For this reason, although they are all amazing players, i dont think that Boston will be a serious championship contender.
Oh and btw boston also has NO DEPTH

Yep. Ive been playing left wing this whole time because my dad wanted me to, but really Ive wanted to play defense so Im finally switching. I havent played defense on an actual team, but when i scrimmage at hockey camps and stuff I do. Ive yet to have a season as a defenseman and im pretty excited. Im really good at backwards skating and poke-checking and i know that you should try to block passing lanes/shooting lanes. But i want to be the best defenseman i can be. Do any of you guys have any extra tips for me? Thanks.

I ride my bike for transportation, fitness, fun and to save money on gas. I ride to work 10 miles each way. There are a few hills, but for the most part it's pretty flat. It's all on road or sidewalk with minimal cracks or potholes. I also like to strap on "The Pod Racer" (our kid trailer) and take my kids for rides. Usually just for a few miles.

I currently ride a 21 speed Schwinn Mountain Bike that I bought at Wal-Mart for about $125. It’s served its purpose for about 2 years, but I’m thinking of getting something new. It's heavy and cumbersome. I only ever use maybe 1/3 of the gears (the faster/harder 1/3).

I don't want/need anything fancy or expensive. I don't care what brand it is. I don't particularly care if it has shocks or not. I just want something that will be durable, efficient and fun to ride.

I want to get a basic 1911A1. I want it with wood grips and blued metal. I don't care about target barrels or match triggers or any of that stupid stuff. I am not a good enough shot to care that I get a 3 inch group at 50 yards instead of a 2 inch group. I just want the very basic one, no bells and whistles... just like one a GI would have carried. The only difference i would consider is caliber... do they come in .40 S&W without costing a lot more. .45ACP and .40 S&W are the only two rounds I would want one in. How does .40 compare to .45 in price? How much should I pay for the gun I want and who makes them well? Thanks in advance.
