They are both equally great. One is a physical comeback and the other is a mental comeback. Both are challenging in their own right, and both players deserve the outmost credit and respect for their accomplishments.

Josh Hamilton? All his problems were self-inflicted. He had that car crash, but it is still his fault that he got hooked on drugs. And don't give me the "But Ankiel lost his own control on his pitches. Ankiel's fault." Weak argument, Ankiel just couldn't pitch correctly anymore, he had what we call Steve Blass disease, you know, the disease named after the Pirate pitcher who in 1973 went 3-9 and had a 9.something era.

Getting to the point, Jon Lester, although it pains me to say that. Ankiel overcame pitching problems, Lester overcame cancer. Which is more likely to be fatal? You be the judge

That's tough.....cancer is a tough story, but Lester has a 5.67 ERA since coming back, and usually only goes 5 innings. I'm going with Ankiel, because he's had so much success, but beating cancer should have it's own catergory
