What does it mean in a LLWS game when it says under MPH MLB MPH like it'll say 67 MPH MLB MPH 88 what does the MLB part mean is that like a calculation or something?

Well, since I believe either the mounds are closer or the children are, well, children, the "equivalent" thing means that that's how hard they would've thrown, most likely, had they been in the major leagues

It's a calculation that the do. Because the MPH for the Little leaguers is based on their pitching mound (which i believe is 54 feet and 8 inches) so they convert that the distance from a major league mound- and so a kid throwing the 70s is like pitching in the mid 90s.

little league is 45 feet and not the standard 60 ft 6 inches like it is in the MLB, so their speed is calculated to what it would be in the big leagues, i think

yeah its a calculation that takes into account the age of the players, the reaction time of the hitters, and the distance to the plate
