Sports - 28 March 2007

I play basketball at my school. Next year, most of the players are graduating so there are few players left. I get a long with one of my teammates and he says that I should play as a Point Guard. The problem is that I can dribble and all of that but I am just 13 and I am playing with guys who are 16+ (I am from another system of school) and they might steal the ball. How can I?:

Improve dribbling with both hands and crossover with less difficulty?

Improve both of my hands speed when I crossover and dribble?

How can I improve both of my leg speed when I dribble and crossover and how can I improve its movement when I crossover so it does not hit my leg?

Is it necessary to build up muscles so it can be done easier?

Thanks 4 ur help, please give suggestions or exercises that might help, no matter how difficult it is, i'll do anything

I have been doing research on 2 different brands of bikes, and now I am stuck. My local bike shop sells Trek, and I found a great deal online for a Jeep Cherokee Classic mountain bike. The suggested retail price for the Jeep is $475, but I found it online for only $280.

I have read a lot of reviews, many saying that Jeep is not a bad bike, but others say that they are crap wal-mart bikes. Last time I was at wal-mart, they didnt have a $475 bike... Is this bike different from the other "crap" bikes? It has an aluminum frame, dual shocks, disc brakes. Here is the link http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2129481

The Trek bike I'm looking at is also aluminum and retails at $310. I cant think of the model off the top of my head. I'm also looking at a comparible Gary Fisher.

Any suggestions or things to look out for?

Hi, I am interested in buying a bike but don't really know much about them I was looking at bikes in argos for about £100 but I would lie to use it daily so I am not sure if it would work for long ?

does anyone here have any advice about buying a cheap but reliable bike ? I have a budget of only around £200 is it possible to get a quality one for that ?

I know he will be remembered for the meltdown but he claimed in an interview after the Lewis fight that he was trying psychological warfare and he definitely had Lewis out of his game plan. He said Camacho, Duran and even Ali were allowed to employ their strategies. He has never been knocked down in his career and though Lewis was winning and McCall wasn't defending or throwing punches he wasn't in immediate danger. He has an impressive record and has never stopped fighting-- before the first Lewis fight he was best known for being Tyson's chief sparring partner. His next fight is in Turkey 2007-06-09 against Sinan Samil Sam (27-3-0) McCall is 41 and is currently ranked number 36 by boxrec ahead of Audley Harrison, Evander Hollyfield, and Joe Mesi. I am very curious and I haven't heard anything negative in the 10 years since that last fight with Lewis..

Anyone else agree that North Carolina fans should stop bitching about the loss? They shouldn't make up excuses (blaming the refs..). This is coming from an unbaised fan, Georgetown outplayed UNC, Jon Wallace hit a clutch three with a hand in his face and he deserves all the credit in the world, get over it.
