Anyone else agree that North Carolina fans should stop bitching about the loss? They shouldn't make up excuses (blaming the refs..). This is coming from an unbaised fan, Georgetown outplayed UNC, Jon Wallace hit a clutch three with a hand in his face and he deserves all the credit in the world, get over it.

Georgetown has the better team. All people ***** when their teams loose. My favorite quotes are " They didn't beat us, we beat ourselves", and the one that you are talking about. The " if it wasn't for the refs" call. You know what I watched that game hoping that UNC was going to win. In the early second half UNC looked like they were going to take it, but what UNC lacked was a killer instinct. How many times do you see teams get the lead and then get stagnent. They get complacent and that is what UNC did. A few calls were debatable, but it was UNC that let GTown get into a position where two or three calls made the difference. 3 bad calls equals at most 9 points. That does not explain the 20+ point change in the score. UNC lost because they got complacent and thought they had the game in the bag. The problem was they did not have the game in the bag.

What can the NC fans be bitching about?
The refs had them up in free throws 25-5 at one point. TWENTY FIVE - FIVE! rediculous.
Then they got outplayed in the second half.
Then they got victimized by the big 3.
They they went cold in OT.
Deep down they know they can't blame anyone other than the 12 on the floor.

You got to understand, every fan is going to be bitching about a bad loss, especially with a trip to the final four on the line. Gtown has the better team, thats all I can say. God bless the kid who died that was the unc mascot.

"live by the 3, die by the three"..I dont care if its UNC, Memphis, Tenn or Oregan, Vandy just to name a few...You have to go to your bigs every now and then. When you are hitting jumpers its a lot easier. Carolina went away fron inside out to just jumpers. Legs are tired late in the game. Go inside. No one to blame but coach. AND, someone has to loose. They will be back...Too much youth

hell yeah i agree gtown didnt give up and they did gtown started playing tougher d and geting those defesive rebounds and making shots none of that happend for UNC

gtown over OSU then to the finals with UCLA where they will lose (sorry die hard bruin fan)

those were horrible callls. they should be bitching. i would have slapped one of the refs in the face if i were on NC
