So the biggest hurdle is out of the way, Favre is coming back. I am sure we have all heard the rumors of getting another WR (ie Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, etc). Don't you think what the team could really use is STEVE MARIUCHI. Steve played a small role in Brett coming back this year and he was seen talking to Brett live on the NFL network stage. Steve is no longer getting head coach considerations by any teams, WHY NOT take a job as an offensive cordinator. Prove to the league that he can still do it, then try again for a head coaching job. Steve and Brett have history and a good relationship, I think it would work out well. Your thoughts about Steve or any other off season moves?????

In my opinion, I believe he is the worst commissioner in pro sports. The commissioner is supposed to spark interest, and make the game grow as a whole, just look at tagaligue and stern and what they have done fo their leagues. Bettman is KILLING his league. In the mid '90s, everybody was talking that hockey might get so big it might become bigger than basketball, while I never believed it to going that big. Bettman and the players, and the league have the worst time connecting to fans after the strike. Bettman's worst dcison as the commissioner is giving the TV deal to VS. VS is a channel in the 600s at my satelittle at home, and is very hard t find. If Bettmann were smart, he needed to realize if he was going to be on that channel, ESPN, the major sports channel, was not going to give the league a ton of attention that the game deserves. Bettman is driving the game of hockey to the ground, and is probably not even in the top 4 sports anymore. NHL needs2 ad youngguys2becomebig

Herb Sendek I believe was one of the better coaches at NC State. He took the pack to 5 consecutive NCAA tournaments. He is way better than sydney lowe. The only reason Sydney Lowe is doing "ok" right now is because of the players that Herb recruited for them. Brandon Costner, Courtney Fells, Engin Atsur, Mcauly....all of those players are star athletes and were recruited by Herb... And who did sydney recruit?? NOT ****.....Well tell me your opinions.

rashard lewis is a premere small forward he defines the position he can do everything, he is the most well rounded small forward in the game, name one more player who could score from any were on the floor post up and stuff back in ure face that is 6"10 , if he could get traded he would be back in the all star game like in 05 06

Well what a disgrace, apart from Woodgate, Neville and Gerrard, the rest just as well have stayed at home. Give Gerrard the captancy now and build the team around him not JT. How many games has McClaren now been in charge of? how many were friendlies? how many for real? How many have we lost? how many have we won. To tell you the truth, I lost interest since the world cup, and thats seems wise to me based on last nights performance.

Can someone please explain this to me, besides being an obvious rip-off of Florida's "Gator Bait", the 'insult' appears to be logically inconsistent.

Take the Sugar Bowl for example. If Notre Dame was regarded as "Tiger Bait", this would imply that they would get quite literally consumed by LSU. However, as anyone who's ever gone fishing knows, you use bait to catch (and possibly kill) something. To wit, a worm is "Fish Bait" which gets eaten by the fish, but then the fish gets stuck on a hook, filleted, and fried. In the particular example of Tiger Bait, a scene from The Swiss Family Robinson comes to mind. Remember when they hang some meat over a pit to catch a tiger? The meat serves as the bait, but the tiger doesn't even get any of it!

Basically what I'm trying to discern here is why LSU fans would chant something that, while implying that they will destroy their opponent, also implies their own destruction?

Do any of you by the excuse that england lost yesterday because they were missing key players?

I thought before the world cup you said England had "talent in abundance"

So what's going on, do you have talent in abundance or just a few good players?

If you have talent in abundance then surely you can make two england line ups that could win international games against the big teams.

Or is it just that some people got over exicted and hyped the team up to a level that no group of players could never really match?
