They performed admirably at the WC and have worked hard in a Nation where the sport is really only just beginning to have any competitive success. We are really proud of them. They don't have to be winners to have our support. They need to work on tightening their defense and their finishing. A lot of potential but a lot of room to improve which really is a good thing not bad. And desperately need to replace Graham Arnold, who is a nice man but far from ready to be at the helm. Lot's ready to retire after Asia cup, but the future is bright with some amazing young talent playing in our own A League that would surprise quite a few I think.
Just a bit of trivia..did you know Pele said Ray Richards, a midfielder from the 1974 Socceroo's, was one of the best and toughest markers he has ever played against!!
Our cricket team..very competitive, set very high goals for themselves. Again some changes with the retirement of key player and McGrath set to finish also after the WC. Have the best batsman in Ponting in the world currently in my opinion and Gilly is great behind the wicket. Their solid but need to keep their mind on the job and not take things for granted. Other teams are finding form at the right time but I think they will bring home the cup again.

I love the Australian squad, although I haven't much gotten myself acquainted with some of the players who don't play regularly. The main guys I've kept an eye on are the ones that played in the World Cup. I love all those guys. They played terrific in the WC and I was delighted by that. Sad about the game against Italy though :( I think given some more time, they can really become a threat if they keep their confidence and their abilities to play well together. I'm excited to see where they will get themselves in the years to come.

Speed Demon.. Youve always been Cristiano.
You have 14 year old girls chasing you down and you get sick of it and youre step-over specialist whos lightning fast.
didnt Warne retire? The Australian cricket squad is a HUGE favorite to win the upcoming Cricket World Cup.. However, if India selected Speed Demon, India would be more competive! India needs a Cristiano Ronaldo on their squad!
Speed Demon- Ive seen you with Priyanka Chopra and youre being touted as the next Sachin Tendulkar.. I think India needs better pace bowlers though... Theyve always been strong in batting.
Speed Demon: just telling what I think and youre welcome
