Is Shawne Merrieman the best young deffensive player in the NFL?

I think he is he weighs 270 and is faster then most 240 Linebackers. He alson has the most sacks even though he missed 4 games. He is my favorite player in the league and he should win the deffensive MVP this year

What can WE do?

I COMPLETELY agree with Mr. Jim Rome. Normally I will criticize people who need to make better choices and that nothing good happens at bars, in the middle of the night. But this is different, it was New Year's and most people probably were partying or at some bar. This player WAS trying to make good choices, he hired a limo driver for after a long night, is the young father of two young children, and warns other young people not to be associated with gangs. This is less a football issue as it is an American issue. A VERBAL altercation took place and he was killed in a drive by shooting. How has society gotten to the point that good people are MURDURED over disrespectful comments.

What can WE do to stop this.
