This is a course by course answer. Each course is different with a different layout. Many of the courses around me are upwards of 100 acres. Courses in more urban areas have to be slightly more compact and therefore may be as small as 40 acres. Good Luck and God Bless.

Like a nine hole course usually sits on about 50 acres of land... so probably safe to assume that a regular golf course would be at least double that
