Are they safe to fire? My stubborn dad (he's 74 years-old) has an antique Winchester rifle that he shoots about twice a year just for fun.
I'm afraid it's so old it'll explode in his face and kill him!
But I can't convince him that it's dangerous!
Is it dangerous or am I being paranoid?
He takes very good care of it but it's sooooo old!
Does anyone know if it's safe?

Honestly how many die hard fans believe that this is the most disgusting thng to have that mans wife be in the business with the story role they gave her. Obviously she agreed to do it or she wouldnt be there. For Christ sake her husband died for the business and thats how they use her character c'mon!

WIth the added round in the playoffs, the World Series is being played later and later. It's possible that this year's Seires won't conclude until the first week of November if the weather in St. Louis doesn't co-operate.

What if the Red Sox and the Rockies make the Series one year? By late October, it's possible that the weather at both Fenway and Coors Field could make actually playing the Series impossible!

What about a nuetral warm-weather site for the World Series like the Super Bowl? What about condensing the schedule so the Series happens earlier in October?

Is this even a problem?

I am thinking about buying the North Face Quanticon Jacket but I am not sure about a few things. It says the average weight is 4lbs 5 oz. That is pretty heavy. Is this a bulky, heavy parka that should only be worn in extreme cold, or can this be worn on 40-50 degree average winter days where I live? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. thanks much.

In my opinion, all signs point to yes. He uses pine tar to pitch, he throws cameramen around and he is a complete jerk. By the way has anyone heard how high his voice is in interviews. That would be the nutz shrinkin and the steroids talkin!

I know it's in the NFL rules that games can be cancelled due to dangerous weather and I seem to recall it happening in Buffalo a couple of years ago but my memory could be faulty.

Also, does anyone know how many NFL games have been cancelled in the past five years or so (not counting the weeks post-9/11)?
