I would say Johan Cruyff. How Holland didn't win the World Cup in the 70's is beyond me.
They were the team of the tournament hands down in 1974, but were robbed by the Germans.
They are the best team never to have won the World Cup.
I admire Dennis Bergkamp, but to me he isn't Johan Cruyff.
For individual skill, the best footballer of all time, in my eyes, is Diego Maradona. But Johan Cruyff is a close second.
Pele scored loads of goals but doesn't come close to Maradona for me on individual skll.
But I think that if Holland would have won the World Cup in 1974, people's opinions of Johan Cruyff would have been different and he would have been placed in the top three players of all time, which is what he deserves.
