yeah go A's!!!!! i love the A's, i grew up in the bay area and have loved them since, now I live in san diego and go to the rare games the padres play against the A's. i wish barry zito would stay, and tim hudson and mulder would come back... the yankees are overrated and even are not the best team in the league although they spend WAY more money then anybody else, their payroll is about 4 times that of the A's and yet the A's find a way to compete with them. as for the red sox, for some reason they have lots of fans even though their team isnt that great, they only have one world series win in 80 years, and although many sox fans complain about the yankees spending to much money, they have the 2nd highest payroll at about 2-3 times the A's. i hope oakland wins the world series, go oakland!!!

the reason why there is sooooo many Yankee and red sox fan is because they have nothing else to do now that the 2 teams are not dominating baseball. So they have to come here a relive the old days. I do like Oakland but I'm not a die hard fan. Go Tigers!

The Red Sox were just in Oakland and it seemed that there were more Red Sox fans in the ballpark than A's fans. There were 35,000 people in the park each day and the A's probably average 17,000 or 18,000 fans on a normal day. The fact is there just aren't that many A's fans, vocal or otherwise. If a team of their quality played in LA or SF, there would be a sellout for every game. The Raiders sell out and they are an embarrassment.

I've been an A's fan since the days of Vida Blue but you know fans gravitate towards winners and the NYY have won the most titles and the Red Sox recently won so makes sense to me plsu given bothe fans' crazed passion for the game it's not a surprise. Plus both teams are based in areas with a far greater population base than the Bay Area where the A's have always been poor cousins to the Giants.

Anyway, Oakland A's--4 World Titles, Zero Splash Hits!

Unfortunately, the rest of the baseball world will always be outnumbered by Yankee and Red Sox fans -- they're the "easy" teams to root for... One has won 26 world championships, so they've just got the most bandwagon fans of any team and the other plays in the greatest park ever built, in one of the greatest cities in the country. (Obviously Red Sox fans care about more than the two reasons I mentioned, but a lot of their fans outside of New England will tell you those are two of the primary reasons they like the Sox.) Although I get tired of all of the Yankee and Red Sox garbage on here, I welcome it over that of the few A's fans that exist...

Because to Red Sox and Yankee fans baseball is a passion and a big rivalry. With Oakland fans, baseball is just a game.

Chow!!

I'm a huge Oakland A's fan.

Their lineup isn't very good, but they still manage to win games, and that is a huge testament to Billy Beane and the Athletics organization.

Don't worry, bro... There's Oakland A's fans out here.

Do the A's have fans? How many teams close off the top level of their stadiums?
