First of all everyone says that the Packers are the third best team in the NFC Central. Here are some fact that will refute any chance of this happening....
1. Starting Linebackers
-A.J. Hawk
-Nick Barnett
-Abdul Hodge
-Ben Taylor
2. The addition of Charles Woodson to a young up and coming secondary that includes the hidden gem of last years draft in Nick Collins.
3. Zone blocking that will allow our plattoon of running backs have a more productive year, given the absence of injury, which killed us last year.
4. A young fiesty offensive line to go with the new scheme.
4B.(Notice the the #4) IN BRETT FAVRE WE TRUST!!!

I am not predicting Super Bowl but a possible dark horse in the NFC, overall record in the end 9-7 or possibly 10-6 or better if the receivers step up, Brett stays healthy and plays within the system, no major injuries to the running backs or line, and the defense gets the fire it needs from Hawk. We will be just fine!!!

Ok, Ok, Ok. I'll start off with the prediction of a 7-9 season. This totally kills me, as I've loved the Packers since before I could understand football. And one thing that has really been getting me hot under the collar is how everyone and their mothers are taking shots at the Packers' defense, including my fellow answerer, answerman 1973. I seem to remember the Packers having a streak of some weeks with the #1 pass defense in the league; and, if I'm not mistaken, they finished in the top ten in total defense. Defense is not the reason the Packers will lose. The lack of offensive targets will, once again, spell disaster for the Packers. They have one proven receiver, a few running backs coming off of injury, and the five blocks of cheese (the O-Line) are no longer around.

Great football team this year....despite what anyone wants to say about last year. They had a lot of injuries...and a few too many turnovers because of those injuries. If Favre keeps his targets this season, and Gado and Green can get it done on the ground...expect one last explosive season from Favre...7th overall D in 2005 helped them to not lose by many points, making their turnovers the only problem they had. The defense got better, and the offense got healthy. I'm going to say they do 10-6 or better this season...the NFC North is a horrible division afterall.

Just so you know I'm not bias...I'm a Carolina Panther's fan...I just know what good situations look like...and any offense with Favre in it is certainly something anyone shouldn't count out too quickly just because some misfortune last season...be real people....

GO PANTHERS!!

From watching the Packers on TV until they completely rebuild that team they will only have small amount of success. The quarter back is as good as he is, he simply can not carry the whole team the whole season. I expect a limited amount of success this year. To many other teams have opened up the bank vault all the good talent is gone it is going to be a tough year for all teams.

a pair issues: -Donald driving force is below no circumstances able to being a #a million WR. he's only no longer solid sufficient. -Brett Favre, I hate to declare it, is so a procedures previous his top that that's unhappy. he's a real legend, yet he mandatory to get out of the NFL 2 years in the past. -Ahman green is fragile, and if he's injured, they circulate back to final 300 and sixty 5 days's RB scramble. the way I see it, if green is going down, decrease the confusion and supply the interest to Samkon Gado. he's the wonderful and probable the main durbale of the replacements. -Aaron Rodgers isn't waiting to be a QB interior the NFL. If Favre is going down, do no longer anticipate something in any respect from Rodgers, he hasn't been given sufficient snaps or journey to do lots of something. they'd desire to start giving him time to get waiting for next 300 and sixty 5 days, while he's in all probability the beginning QB.

5-11 - Brett Favre throws 17 TDS and 27 Ints. Ahman Green gets injured week 3. AJ Hawk leads the team in tackles (and sacks), but Charles Woodson and Al Harris stink up the field, getting burned constantly.

they could do decent all because the NFC North isn't really that big on a difference between the teams. The Bears have the best D and that's why they won last year. But the Pack can compete if they get a consistent O and better D

Hey fellow cheesehead! I'm sure hoping for at least an 8-8 season. Wouldn't surprise me if old Brett hangs up the spikes after this year.
