Funny how you looking things so bad, you have to know the people before saying anything, They have their reasons. For Africans the most widelly sports they know are track and field and most of all soccer, they are so passionate in the sport of soccer that they are willing to fight for their teams. Look at the history of sports, soccer is the most know sport in the whole world and the sport the causes a lot of trouble ( fighting fans, stampide, players fighting and scandals.), americans have soccer but the exposure and the quality of players are not that good, in my honest opinion they really suck in soccer. And knowing that the World Cup 2010 site will be on Africa they can definetlly have a lot to say on that.

I'm proud to be an African.Those u've met are impatient.What they mean 's that soccer is more African than American.The average African goes more crazy for soccer than the average American-who pumps for the adrenaline sports.We cannot all be the same.Wonder?Respect to Motherland Africa!

I am Black and sorry you got hit up with the 'being a racist', but I think they are just mad at America cause we have better sports on T.V. than soccer and other exciting sporting events than soccer, even the Italians are lame like that, we don't care just about soccer, we have better sports!

Who cares what anyone thinks? All they have in Africa as a sport is really soccer. It's the perfect Third World sport. That does not make it good. I'd rather see rugby make inroads beyond its South Africa base as now there's a sport.
Anyway, there is loads of soccer on TV in the US on ESPN, Fox Sports World, Univision and GolTV.

Because all the ones you meet are loosers. Not all of them think that way. How many have you meet? Not all Africans are loosers just some are. Same with america some americans are loosers. It depends on your personality.
