We have two world cup finalists now in our Euro2008 qualifying group. I can't believe it, how could we get the group of death after the manager of death (Berti ****)? What could count in our favour? Good French players retiring? Italian players being banned if any involved in the match-fixing? And that's not even including the Ukraine. Not looking forward to this. Rays of hope anyone?

I post this in the baseball section 'cause I started the train of thought here but I'm asking the question as it pertains to Professional Atheletes. The ones who are already signed and playing for money. Not aspiring amatuers! Not high school or college phenoms. Paid professionals!! i am 18, and in my final year in high school. have been running since 7th grade. my personal records are 3mile:17:00 2mile:10:46 1mile: 4:40. its cross country off season but my coach isnt training us yet. i made it to regionals last year but with the team. can some one give me a workout to do over the summer. i need to be a contender to make it to state this year its my last chance to make it. and i know i can.

i have been reading and all i have heard is all about pistons and bulls. i am a pistons fan. but after the finals i am impressed with dallas. especially with dirk. i even bought a dirk jersey.but to my question. with dallas playing as good as it did in the finals does it have a chance to make it to the playoff again? they have alot of players that can score like: terry, dirk, howard, harris, stackhouse. what do they need to do to make themselves better? they got slaughtered by wade, but not by shaq cuase he sucks. so do they need to sign a defensive player other than griffin.
