Man, I wish I could give a MINUS 10 for the worst answer - the one who claims to be an England fan but loves princess ronaldo!
To me it is impossible to love an enemy of one close to your heart.

That game was changed dramatically by the red cards, but the US are a perfectly reasonable side. What they don't have is any real quality and a team needs that as well as good organisation. The US aren't in the top 20 teams in the world and there is no reason to think they will rise above those ahead of them. However, Greece and Denmark have both won major tournaments without being particularly brilliant teams so if 2010 is like 2006 with no real outstanding sides then anything is possible in a knockout competition. They should just make sure they practice their penalties.

It was just luck and a bad day for Italy... USA even scored a goal... it was an own goal from Italy...
In my opinion the only thing that USA did that day was defend, defend and defend... and commit fouls....
That day I was wondering why people always complain about Italian "catenaccio". When Italy does that is bad, but when other countries do it, they played well.
Despite all that... I think US has improved over the years his game... Even though maybe your best time was when Lallas was on the national team.

so no, it wasnt a tie, it was all luck. U.S is horrible and will always will be, at least for a long time. sorry but dont even discuss them and soccer. there are thousands of other countries that are better. EVEN GHANA is better. so forget about the U.S. hopes

Football? Ask the UK bookies, they are never far off and are unlikely to give anyone outside the top nations good odds. Everyone has a puncher's chance though, even America.
