i have been reading and all i have heard is all about pistons and bulls. i am a pistons fan. but after the finals i am impressed with dallas. especially with dirk. i even bought a dirk jersey.but to my question. with dallas playing as good as it did in the finals does it have a chance to make it to the playoff again? they have alot of players that can score like: terry, dirk, howard, harris, stackhouse. what do they need to do to make themselves better? they got slaughtered by wade, but not by shaq cuase he sucks. so do they need to sign a defensive player other than griffin.

The Mavs are in great shape. It just wasn't their year this year. Other than Wade, you probably won't see that particular Heat lineup do much from here on out. They're getting really, really old with Shaq, Zo, Payton and even Walker.
The Bulls are getting better with Ben Wallace, but as of now they still don't have much in the way of offense.
The Mavs have a great coach, a star, depth, great chemistry and they probably won't lose much this offseason and they're still very young.
They'll get a few more runs at a title before Dirk's career is through.

They don't stand a chance if Amare comes back at 100%. The suns take it all next year and break the bulls record for the most wins in a season.

as tink said, they lost they are inexpiernced and they suck, they are not as good as miami miami is an overall better team at everythingm get over it, dallas is garbage, they have individual talent liek dirk nowitzki but put it together with the team and u get losing, also becuz of their in expiernce they missed open shots and got very nervous espiaclly devon harris GOOO HEAT another championhship next year

I am not sure, but to me it just seemed like the other team just wanted the win more. I love the Mavs and I think they have what it takes to come back to the playoffs again! Go Mavs!
