I mean, exactly what do those people believe? Do they really worship the devil?

One time I was going to go help my mom in her church's nursery on Sunday and she refused to let me go with her until I put a bra on. She said it was bad for me to go to church without one. I know that Christian women are supposed to cover their heads in church (even though most do not), but no one said there was going to be an underwear inspection!

As I stated, I'm happily pagan following a nocturnal witchcraft path. I'm happy and content in my religion and find true joy in finally finding my beliefs. But in the small town I live in, I have encountered the good hearted masses that feel they need to invite me to church, to church social events, to sing in the choir and any other thinly veiled excuse just to get me to thier faith and convert me. I was raised Baptist so I know that they do this with the best heart and the best of intentions but rather than scorning my faith, why can't they celebrate it as I celebrate that they have found peace in thier faith?
I state this with the hope that Christians will see, and understand that Pagans will never try to convert you, never try to explain or force thier beliefs on you unless you ask about thier ways and only as long as you wish to listen. But we are pushed to find God...so why do we not get the same respect? A respectful answer for these good people please?

Serious question.

I've never really gotten a straight answer. I know he was a fallen Arch Angel, right? Thought he deserved the power that God had, or something. So God kinda sent him to rule the underworld, per say. Well, instead of doing that, thus scaring and torturing millions of people, why didn't he just destroy him?

You see, I killed God. Dead as a door nail. It will be all over the news after Christmas. Are you upset or relieved?

KJV
6) ...And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

NIV
7) For there are three that testify: 8) the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

American Standard
7 And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.
8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.

New Living Translation
7 So we have these three witnesses[c]—8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree.

Is there anyone out there who believes that sex before marriage is wrong BUT, who believes that it's ok to be homosexual. My guess is that the two can't coincide, but I could be wrong.

I believe most people would say they're both okay and some Christians would say they're both wrong. What do you think?

well a long time ago, i remember hearing my mom talk about some trees that were a lot alike and she said that we would pass them about everyday driving somewhere. now i didnt hear the whole thing because i was in another room and she was telling someone else. well after that, i tried looking for those trees. i saw trees everywhere that were alike. now about everyday i see trees that are all in a straight line and look the same. it really suprises me to find all this. could this be a sign?? im not really exactly sure if she even said that because i couldve not understood her! so if this is some kind of sign, what could it mean?

Sometimes I feel like God has called me to be a warrior. Like taking the evil away from this earth. Like a Demon Hunter... Strong feelings too, so please do not make-fun.

If Christ IS God?

1 Corinthians 15:27-29
Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.

When he {God} has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him [God} who put everything under him {Christ}, so that God may be all in all.

Ok. so the only person who is supposed to be able to judge you is God himself/herself. So why on Earth do Christians think that they can so freely tell who is going to hell or not? And why do they think that their religion is the onliy right one, when there are so many different cultures and ethnicities in the world? All the rest can't be wrong, right?

Catholics believe that the crucifixion of Jesus was actually a metaphor for when he exploded. Now, I'VE never exploded, but I know what it would be like. Don't ask me how, but I know what it would be like. It seems like a pretty big deal to me.

Do you think Jesus' suffering when he exploded was a sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the world?

There was a question asked earlier by this lady in AA, she is Roman Catholic, and has been for quite some time(atleast before she started AA). She was upset because she had to say "Lutheran" prayers, and only wanted to pray in "her" church.

I asked her why did she care about her faith now, when she clearly didn't follow it before? and I got 3 thumbs down.

That being said, my question is.

Why should I take pity on an alcoholic who is so closed minded, she refuses to pray just because it's with people of a different denomination?

I don't buy into religon, along with many others. So, take away the christian content of the occasion, Christmas,as 'celebrated' is basically an empty experience. Near hysterical over indulgence, forced interaction, just empty.
I am not depressed, am not a humbug, just bothered about the ethos of the whole experience.

If you had to choose, which one has to go?

genesis 32:30

"And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."

or

John 1:18
"No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."

Which one should we toss?
