My Stepmother is Protestant and is refusing to go to her grandchildren's catholic baptism. She disagrees with the theory behind the ceremony that those who are not baptized won't go to heaven. What do you think is more important - supporting her stepdaughter and family or supporting this belief. I think that she should still attend. She can still maintain her beliefs, that doesn't mean she can't attend, right? wrong?

The biblical Canon came about out of necessity because of the growing problem of heresies within the Church. It became necessary to decide not only what books were inspired by God but which books in the New Testament were suitable for instruction of the faithful. (John 12:31) Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

(John 14:30) I shall not speak much with YOU anymore, for the ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me,

(1 John 5:19) We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.

the glory of the LORD?

Ezekiel 1:26-28

And above the firmanent over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone, on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a MAN............high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire, all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist downward I saw, as it were, the the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness, all around it. This was the APPEARANCE OF THE LIKENESS OF THE GLORY OF JEHOVAH!!

Hear O' Israel the Lord our God is one Lord! Jesus and Jehovah = one God!

There is one God!

I think somebody should organize a world-wide event where people gather together in great numbers at the very same time and demand that God shows himself to the world as he supposedly has in the beginning. We should have a right to demand this of him so that we can have the same opportunity to witness his existance - don't give me the old "blessed are those who believe though they have not seen." If he does exist, he could not ignore the cries of the masses.
