I just recieved a "chain "in memory" mail" that states that the UK is taking the Holocaust out of the history lessons in school because it offends the Muslim population who believe it never occured. We are supposed to pass it on..

For my part, I think that this is a ENORMOUS overgeneralization and who ever wrote the email is putting the words of Iran's leader, who stated that the Holocaust maybe didn't happen the way we think - or never happened, in the mouths of the whole of the Muslim community world-wide. This is the stuff that makes people hate ignorant Americans.

So....is this true? Is the GENERAL Muslim belief that the Holocaust never happened?

And quite frankly - I am not interested in the opinions people who either A) are not Muslim or B) who are uneducated about the Islamic faith in scholastic way. I have a BA in Religious Studies and don't really want to hear opinions of Christians, Atheists, etc.

I know that lying is a sin. My question is do you think that it is a sin to lie when you are simply doing so to spare someone's feelings?
For example: a co-worker wears a new pantsuit to work. It is really a very nice pantsuit, but you personally do not like it. She asks you "do you like my new pantsuit?" And no you really don't, but you tell her "yes, I do" to spare her feelings. Is that a sin?

I have asked this question before a long time ago and never got any satisfactory answers.
Is the womans menstruation cycle part of the curse that was put on mankind after Adam and Eve ate from the tree?
Or is it a blessing for the woman?
In the bible it tells us not to have sex while we are menstruating and it warns a man not to engage in sex with a woman while she is menstruating.
Do you think that menstruation is something that God designed to be a cleansing of the woman and therefore a time to refrain from sex and it's good for the woman because during that time she doesn't have to be bothered about sex from her husband (I'm serious)
or...it is part of the curse.
Remember God told Eve that now she was going to bear children in pain. Which means before that it was not painful to have children. And Adam and Eve lived in perfection, and menstruating is bloody, nasty, and smelly and an awful thing every month for the woman(well it's bothersome)
So what do you think?

people who don't want to hear it (for religious reasons) or to assume that everyone should enjoy hearing it?

Doesn't that mean that you are putting an emphasis on the consumerist and fun aspects, and forgetting what Christmas is?

If the Bible was inspired by God why would God speak to us by such generic letters from Paul to the churches? God sure has used a strange way to give us his Word, don't ya think?

I was baptized Catholic, had my first communion, and confession, but in my early teens my parents split up, I went with my dad who was not catholic and I didn’t finish my sacraments. I’m 32 and have lived a horrible life. A non Catholic life, I did start going to church, but continued my sinful life, Religion wasn’t talked about much at my household and both parents worked full time jobs so it was up to my older siblings to raise me, who though it was ok to give me mary J when I was 9, all I saw was drugs and sx, that’s really all I knew, my parents weren’t around. I was married and divorced twice, never in the church though, I’ve had kids out of wedlock and I have been living in sin for …I don’t know if you include the other husbands. About… 16 years now. I’ve been too ashamed to go in to the office, my kids need their sacraments and so do I.

Mainly because of what I’ve seen on this sight, I’m terrified to go in there and get this done, my heart is pounding just thinking about it and my anxiety overwhelms me. I am on anxiety meds, I have a big problem with it.) I’m so scared that it paralyzes me…to top it off I read this
