He's thinking about all the money people would waste, if he could pass a carbon tax. He must enjoy coming up with bad ideas.

Mr Gore is attending a world Kyoto summit on Global Warming with all World leaders from193 of all 194 countries around the world in Indonesia with the exception of the USA which is still the only country on the Earth which still pumps out green house gas emissions which is killing the planet. Two more Islands in the south pacific have been evacuated as well over 300 miles of the Great Barrier Reef is now gone forever and more is vanishing everyday as well over 180 miles more of coastline in Antarctica has now fallen into the sea. Most Children 4 years a under in Australia have never seen rain and were going into level 4 water restrictions. As ice burgs are now floating in the Southern + New Zealand Oceans for the first time.

When you go outside at night, do you think the sun burned out? Your anecdotal experience of weather is not an indication of what's going on at the global level.
Even BushCo admits global warming is happening at this point. The debate has moved on to the question of the degree to which human activity is responsible for it. Thankfully, people like you really are in the crackpot minority now.
PS - OK, it's a "joke." But seriously! I'm so tired of hearing people criticize Al Gore, and pretending that his work on this issue is worthless, or just an attempt to position himself politically. I mean, this is the type of response you're encouraging: "He's probably in his 40,000 square foot home with every light and heater unit on, stuffing his fat face while he waits for his private pilot to warm up his personal jet." This from a guy who probably voted for Bush the Retarded Cowboy twice. Some people would rather see the entire planet go up in flames than admit that a Democrat happened to be right about something.

1-this is not the right section
2-you do not understand global warming (it's not all about temperature)
3-since you don't understand it, you are making a statement that is not accurate, nor funny really.
a great opportunity to read up on both sides of the global warming "debate."
Response to someone who felt it necessary to send a private email:
I said it's not ALL about temperature. 30 years ago, when this debate started, the prediction by knowledgable people was that extremes of weather would be a major outcome of global warming. That's just what's happening, and continues to be become more extreme. We also tend not to separate what is caused by "nature" (normal weather changes) and what is caused by human use and misuse of resources.
BTW, global warming is generally measured in parts of a degree -- there is little discernable difference in the short term. Fact is, for most of the year this IS increased warming in very important areas such as the Greenland icecap and the Arctic. Ask the polar bears if they feel global warming--they are losing their habitat.

Global warming refers to an average increase in temperature across the entire globe. It is not a very noticeable difference on a day-to-day basis; there will still be peaks in both directions!

there is no such thing as global warming
this is a method of population control on what you can use, what can be made and sold
while the world is warming up, it is the beat of the war drum in the distance
as for al gore, who cares where he is, as long as he is not running up massive utility bills at his estate..or do you know about that
he is a massive liar

"global warming" and snow are not the same thing just cause the thought of hot and cold.
"global warming" is a farce anyways to gain more money from a carbon tax to further fund the 1 world government that is already coming to power before our eyes, yet few see.
the entire solar system is warming up. one of Saturn's moons that was ice is now water, the ice caps on Mars is melting faster than those on Earth. Did our Co2 effect these planets as well? I don't think so.
The sun is warming for it is going through a cycle due to our relationship of our solar system in the entire galaxy.

Al who? Is he *Al-Qaida? He must be a terrorist. Oh wait...I mean. Wasn't he the one that lost the presidential election? Hmmm...perhaps his link to al-Qaida was what lost him his spot in being elected as president.
* This is also a joke to all you Scrooges out there.

Please study what the concept of global warming is really all about and then I'd be willing to bet you won't find it very funny.
