I'm just trying to gauge who was/is persecuted more: the earth church or the modern church.

You know how to make a point. Of course Christians today are not persecuted. Happy Holidays is a way to wish all religions a happy holiday for their holiday, but Christians want to be selfish when Christmas is not even Christian and it is an insult to Christ not a compliment.

I'd say the early church people were persecuted a lot more than Christians now days. I think SOME of the ones in the U.S. think disagreeing with them equals persecution.

Christians are no longer persecuted in Islamic international locations. There are Christians residing there. Are you extremely going to take the "Voice of the Martyrs" web site heavily? Lol. besides, it extremely is like asking Germans why Jews have been executed or asking Christians why abortion clinics have been blown up. you won't be able to ask those form of inquiries to those that've no longer something to do with what you're asking.

i am certain that the biblical apostles and prophets would be so sympathetic to the woes of the modern church at the hands of the evil secular humanists!

If you want to see modern Christian persecution look at the Sudan. Not all modern Christians are as fortunate as those in the US.

Gee I dunno. Let's make some other comparison. What's worse? Being whipped with a cat o nine tails? Or having to tip your barber? What's worse. Being flayed? Or getting a hangnail.
Im going with the early apostles suffered a SLIGHT BIT more..

Quit persecuting me with these questions! If you don't agree with me, then you don't have to say anything at all! I demand the right to have my innate superiority recognized!
