I just recieved a "chain "in memory" mail" that states that the UK is taking the Holocaust out of the history lessons in school because it offends the Muslim population who believe it never occured. We are supposed to pass it on..

For my part, I think that this is a ENORMOUS overgeneralization and who ever wrote the email is putting the words of Iran's leader, who stated that the Holocaust maybe didn't happen the way we think - or never happened, in the mouths of the whole of the Muslim community world-wide. This is the stuff that makes people hate ignorant Americans.

So....is this true? Is the GENERAL Muslim belief that the Holocaust never happened?

And quite frankly - I am not interested in the opinions people who either A) are not Muslim or B) who are uneducated about the Islamic faith in scholastic way. I have a BA in Religious Studies and don't really want to hear opinions of Christians, Atheists, etc.

Just because the "Arabs" sympathized with Hitler then, doesn't mean that they do now...also, so did many Russian Orthodox and Greek Orthodox followers in Eastern Europe, that doesn't mean we say today that ALL of the Orthodox followers believe that the Holocaust never happened!

Hmmm...I didn't think I said that I didn't believe that the Holocaust didn't happen, did I??
I just don't really want to hear a ton of ranting about Muslims and how terrible they "all" are. Thats all. And you see that alot in this section.

If it is true then it is a big mistake. No more bending over backwards until we get a response of tolerance for our beliefs and religions. I'm not blaming all Muslims, but I think many here understand what I am trying to say.
I think a part of that Holocaust denial is to get people thinking about Israel and what is going on with the Palestinians.
Iran has the largest population of Jews in a Muslim country.

I would tell you what to do with your self-righteous BA in Religious Studies but that wouldn't be the Christian thing to do. If you want evidence of the Holocaust talk to one who has been there, not some half-pint ruler of Iran. I have friends who suffered through the Holocaust and anyone who denies it is a fool.

How about some of us who crawled across Europe on our bellies , and who shot the Nazis out of the death camps , and saved many living human skeletons ? To go through it , to see it , to smell it , and then hear someone say it didn't happen , is a sure sign of lunacy .
It's the same as if that little runt called all of us liars . We were there . We were the ones who discovered the death camps . The Germans freely admit everything . Millions of photos have been shown. We ( the American soldiers ) personally walked through and saw everything , but Runty calls us liars . A name that he has certainly earned for himself .
