What do you honestly think of someone like this user:

http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=AnvkQFx5NXDd_ywxpOOsh0nsy6IX;_ylv=3?show=q4lXUPxSaa

I am especially taken aback by this comment in his 'about me' section: "Quite often the one pointing out bias is the most biased of all."

If you'll check out his questions, you'll see that he's nothing more than the typical, hypocritical Catholic basher.

Do people like this make Protestants proud? And why have I never yet seen a Protestant-bashing Catholic here, but the opposite floods this forum every single day? What do you think that says, if anything, about Protestantism?

Thanks for your time, your answers and your honest opinions :)

If it weren't for the writings of Theologians like St. Thomas Aquinas, modern science would not exist. It was the reasoning process in the Queen of Sciences - Theology- that led to modern scientific reasoning.
But one of the promoters of the false idea that somehow Christianity and Science are opposed to each other is High School Science classes. The idea that evolution is opposed to Genesis. The problem becomes perinent because you need to ask yourself, why are High School science courses all teaching one Evolutionary Theory? Oh, I'm sorry did I say "Theory." In Science Class it's said to be a "Fact." Without going into why or how there can be a Christian interpretation of evolution, my question centers on the idea, why are students forced to learn evolution in every Public High school? What's the government's agenda in this? Why continue to promote it on the High School level when it can be taught in college? Its a catalyst to promote secular humanism in the schools.

Since there is proof that Evolution has happened what are the beliefs about this?

I am not questioning anything about believing...I am just unsure how the bible coincides with cavemen/dinosaurs etc

Thank you in advance for your time! I appreciate any input! :)

Don't think that I'm going to get you some special favor, like winning the lottery or making you better looking just because you are nice to me. I do have an in with God and I talk to him every day. The problem is that he really doesn't like most people. But if I ask him to do something, he'll do it for me because we are tight like that. But I'll only pray and ask favors for my special friends, not just the ones who try to kiss up to me. So, don't even think about it unless you really, truely, honestly like me. And don't worry I can sense insincere flattery from a mile away. Don't even try it!

I have just asked an innocent question and as a result was called a FOOL and other said if I could "GROW SOME BALLS". Is that what Christianity is all about? Offending others that do not believe in their mythological god?
And by the way, my balls are just fine and ready for action.

So many of the things God did in the Bible, especially The Old Testament, were exactly opposite of how modern man defines "good" as an adjective. Of course everything God has done must be considered "good". So don't we have a problem with semantics? How about adding a new, more applicable definition of the word to Web's Dictionary?

good- what is considered of God's will and all his actions without regard to human empathy or one's own innate notions of right and wrong

Many will look at this question and say, "The Catholic Church didn't want people to read the bible and know the truth." This is the stupid answer based in protestant ignorance and prejudice. The fact of the matter is, that many countries didn't even have a stable language base nor did they share common words or written words to represent many things. But if you think that the King James Bible was the first bible in English, you better go back and read the history books. There were several translations before King James. Do you think French was stable enough, or German, to make accurate translations? There were no printing presses until Guttenburg. The technology of mass production of books didn't exist yet. Yet the church buildings told the biblical stories in glass, stone and liturgy.

A woman in Iowa asked if he felt that the "God of the Bible" was evening listening to Mitt Romney's prayers. Huckabee replied, "I'm glad you've made your choice for me. I don't care why." http://news.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/op_ed/view.bg?articleid=1047704

What does that even mean? "It's okay for you to be bigoted, as long as you vote for me"? He had a chance to stand up and say, "We each have the Constitutional right to worship however we want to"; or, "God listens to each of His children who pray in faith." He's a Baptist minister. There's no way he's never thought about whether the prayers of Mormons make it through to God.

So the question is, did he not answer because he agrees with the woman and didn't want people to know that he's intolerant; or does he believe that Mormon prayers are heard and answered but he's just too much of a coward to say so?

God is Love.
Three Persons in One Nature (essence)
Father generates the Son.
Father and Son spirate the Holy Spirit.
The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit.
The Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son.
The persons in God are equal to each other.
Jesus is God by nature and Man by nature.
Jesus is a Divine Person, he had no human person.
Jesus has a human and divine will. (2 wills)
Jesus has a human and divine intellect.(2 intellects)
Jesus never sinned and was and is without sin.
Jesus in his human intellect learned as a man.
God is eternal.
God is all powerful.
God knows all things.
God is everywhere.
God is His attributes.
The Second Person of the Trinity became Man and died for us.
Father is the first person of the Blessed Trinity.
Son is the Second person of the Blessed Trinity.
Holy Spirit is the third person of the Blessed Trinity.
The Son is God by Nature, Person, intellect and Will.

I watched the movie Boondock Saints and I KNOW, its just a movie. But, it made me wonder.....If there were people, good people, who felt they had permission from God to go and kill any evildoers...would they go to heaven? They know what they're doing is wrong. They BELIEVE, isn't that all it takes? They repent of their sins.
But they never give those men their chance to come to faith, either...or maybe change their ways. Although, who knows if they would change their ways.
They play God. They kill in his name.
& yet they're good people who'd never harm any good person. They obey all laws, except that of not murdering people...or The Fifth Commandment. If you're guilty of breaking one, you're guilty of breaking them all.

& yet those type of people, who play God, yet believe and know the price Jesus paid for the world....They Can Still Go To Heaven, can't they? Even if they continue doing that until they too die?

Did the sudanese government seriously just jail a women for naming a teddy bear Mohammad? What is wrong with Muslims, it's not that big of a deal, especially not deserving of jail time and lashes! I cannot understand this religion for the life of me.
