I have just asked an innocent question and as a result was called a FOOL and other said if I could "GROW SOME BALLS". Is that what Christianity is all about? Offending others that do not believe in their mythological god?
And by the way, my balls are just fine and ready for action.

Probably for the same reason some ATHEISTS react angrily when they disagree with a CHRISTIAN.
Don't get me wrong, I personally think religion in general is a bunch of nonsense. But no, that is not what Christianity is all about. Some people are passionate about their beliefs. Some people are intolerant of the beliefs of others. Some people are both. It doesn't really depend on what they believe, specifically, just who they are.

Your problem is that you are questioning the bookkeepers, not the writer.
Disagreement is actually a refined word used to reject someone’s point of view. They are not disagreeing. In fact they have no answers for your questions out side the religious books written and amended by many biased persons at various stages of our history.
As for their angry reaction, I think you have forgotten about the killing of many wise persons for the wise discoveries they made. I see nothing abnormal in their reaction (all religions included). They are like a frog born inside a well, always denying the existence of any other place outside it.

Do you actually and truly believe that your question was Innocent? You were putting down peoples religion and calling God a myth, and saying that it belonged in the mythology section. I will say the same thing, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't expect others to agree with it. And I also said that not even Yahoo agreed with your opinion, because they put Christianity, and the other religions you named in R&S. And who is getting affended now? Why do you think it is so inocent to put other beliefs down, just because they don't believe the way you do?

Sorry, I didn't see your other question, so I can't work up much anger for you. For what it's worth, I try never to respond in anger, because I always feel like a fool later if I do (and I usually end up deleting it.) If a question offends me that badly, I don't dignify it with a response.

No it's not what Christianity is all about. But don't kid yourself, there are lots of Atheists who react just as badly to some Chrisians questions. You can't judge a whole group by a few members.

it is because they are angered. i am a christian and i thank that you are more likely to respond to kindness than to raw anger. before i say anything i have to check my anger. even if you don't agree wouldn't you be nicer to me and at least not dis. my God to my face if i respond truthfully and nicely. i truly do not know why. i just wish that people were kinder. but that is not going to happen is it as long as sin is in the world.
