What do you honestly think of someone like this user:

I am especially taken aback by this comment in his 'about me' section: "Quite often the one pointing out bias is the most biased of all."
If you'll check out his questions, you'll see that he's nothing more than the typical, hypocritical Catholic basher.
Do people like this make Protestants proud? And why have I never yet seen a Protestant-bashing Catholic here, but the opposite floods this forum every single day? What do you think that says, if anything, about Protestantism?
Thanks for your time, your answers and your honest opinions :)

"I am a pro-truth person." = Thinks that s/he knows WHAT "the trurth" is, and no one else does.
"I am amazed at the people who consider themselves to be open minded..." = Attempts to give the impression that s/he is open minded - but in fact is NOT at all.
"....but in every way prove the opposite by their arguments, slander, and superior attitudes." = This person is peacocking and acting as if s/he IS SUPERIOR.
Ugh.. :(
"Quite often the one pointing out bias is the most biased of all." = Is describing him/herself...?
All I have to say is this:
This person is clearly closed-minded, self-centered, egotistical & self-righteous....

Funny, Protestants broke from the Catholic Church because it was the Catholic Church that strayed. Popes taking bribes for sins, meat bans to aid the fishing industry, the inquisition...Catholics have enough hatred of everyone else that they don't need to hate any one specific group, they are too self righteous.
That said, I think that Protestants are just as stubborn in their holier than thou attitude...might as well just go and worship the flying spaghetti monster for all the respect any one religion gets from all the others.
Peace and love thy neighbor...I didn't need a religion to teach me that...just good old fashioned morals...

I think that the teachings he has probably been exposed to (protestant) have taught him to take offense to some of what the Catholic church teaches. That's OK. But it is his loss.
Theologically, Catholicism includes all of the protestant beliefs. But the Catholic church contains the fullness of the Christian faith. Some of it was rejected during the reformation. But by today's standards the theological aspects that were rejected are pretty tame.
For anyone to feel as though they are more inferior or superior due to the church they belong to makes no sense.

The Final Movie when they showed Snape's love life as he died in Deathly Hallows Part Two. I almost cried but I couldn't bear to be seen with tears over a fictional character. But, it was very touching and heartbreaking. But the part when Hermione was turned into a cat was cool too! And DONT FORGET NEVILLE!

Many of his questions do not have anything to do with the Catholic Church, but rather are related to informing of the truth of the Bible. And people need to be properly informed of what the Catholic Church has done throughout history, and that it is not the Church of God. But I can't say I fully approve of his methods.

I have noticed that there are a number of Catholic bashers here. As a Catholic myself I find it humorous. The bashers have no idea what they're talking about and they have no understanding of the Catholic faith. Prejudice is based on ignorance and the basher are proof of that. Catholics don't need to defend their faith to fools.

Christianity is not one religion, it is a collection of radically divergent religions disguised under the similar nomenclature and similar looking scriptures and rituals. And that includes the tens of thousands of branches of Protestantism. It does as much good to place a Catholic and David Koresh under the umbrella of "Christianity" as it does to place German Lutherans and American fundies (like Jesus Camp) under one label of Protestantism.
He says as much about Protestantism as I do as a former Protestant and current atheist.

Well, think about it this way. The reason there are protestants is because they wanted to distance themselves from the catholic church and make their own claim. They have forgotten their roots, which is never good. Protestants think they are better than everyone. How misguided they are.
