I am an agnostic, which does NOT mean that I don't believe in god, I just believe that there has never been proof of a god. And please don't give stupid replies, like, look around you for the proof. That's not divine creation, it's just evolution, which even I can prove. So, in essence, the fact that I believe in one less god than you, shouldn't make me a target for such bigotry. After all's said and done, it's a belief, and I don't believe it.
Convince me with logic and sound argument that I'm wrong, if you can?

to give a thumbs down to someone solely because they are complaining about receiving so many thumbs down? Especially when they do an edit and make a comment on the thumbs down?

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Out of the first paragraph on this website http://www.big-bang-theory.com/
"This asserts that some 12-15 billion years ago there was a suddenly expansion and explosion of all matter and energy out of an original point - out of literally nothing - and that not only space but even time began at this moment." They are saying that nothing exploded and here we are. Should this be called Science? I think that it should be called a fairy tale and thrown in the garbage.

This is a good website that explains the problems with Evolution.

At any rate, is it possible for something physical such as the mind to know or sense anything of the spirit?

Is your spirit the only thing that can connect with other spirits?

Is it possible to train your mind to be at one with your spirit in order to conceive of spiritual things with your mind?

Notice how the leader with the original idea isn't actually there.

Why is it so many people are deluded to such a degree they will put their children at risk?

( 1 Cor 5: 9,11-13) In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. 12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, 13 while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”

It seems Plain enough to me that Such behavior was Not Tolerated..Enough Said.

Satan loves to take the attention away from Jesus. Christmas has turned in to a merchant's holiday and made children talk about what they are going to get rather than what can they give and how can they bless others. They get their stuff, play with it a couple of times and there it sits. Even the memory will disappear but the interaction with people is what the children will remember. Mmm

I'm not a bible thumper, but I just read about an atheist group that wants crosses taken down that honor fallen CHRISTIAN police officers in Utah. What next, take down crosses in front of churches because they are in public eye? I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. I completely understand the separation of church and state, but it does not state any where in our constitution that we cannot celebrate our religious beliefs when it comes to honoring the dead (such as the flag folding controversy at funerals - give me a friggin break!). Can I get some intelligent feedback here? Rude and ignorant comments will get ya reported. GOD BLESS!

I am doing an argument that the Episcapalian Chruch is not the closest church to the catholic faith. I can not, however, say the orthodox or Anglican is. Is there any way I can argue this? And if it is not, as my professor proclaims, then who is?

November is Missions Month in many evangelical churches, and so I am attributing the large number of "born again" related questions to this fact. (Yes, I realize that October is another popular month for this designation.)

And so my question is this: If I don't agree with your belief that the *manner* in which God gives us salvation is by calling us to the sinner's prayer and a born-again experience, am I just as unsaved as a person who denies the Gospel?

And if not, then why are we being targeted?

I was learning about the story of Mohammed this morning in class. I was told he was told by the Angel Gabrielleto write down the Quran, and that he was to be a prophet.

Joseph Smith wrote down the Momon bible, and considered himself a phophet as well.

Both religions marry multiple wives, or have in the past. And both are rather strict with their moral principles.
