( 1 Cor 5: 9,11-13) In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. 12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, 13 while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”
It seems Plain enough to me that Such behavior was Not Tolerated..Enough Said.

Yes, Jesus said a little leaven will leaven the whole lump. We are commanded not to bring such into our gathering. Birds of a feather... What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? NONE

This scripture does not mean we can't preach or love others that are living in sin. Remember Jesus at the well? That woman was total scum according to the rest of her community. But Jesus still talked to her and brought her to the truth. There is a difference between going out and doing the same things your friends or people you know are doing, you can still be a witness without disfellowshipping.
And it is up to no man to disfellowship or judge anyone. That is up to Jesus, nobody else. You can love the person, but not love what they do. We christians are no better than anyone else. Without Gods Grace, we all would be removed for we all are born wicked and in sin.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does have a practice called disfellowship which is much less intense than excommunication (which we also practice for really really bad stuff).
...when a bishop feels that it will help the person repent from a serious sin then they go through this process which involves not being able to take the sacrament or speaking in church.
They still, however, attend church, retain their membership, and are still treated with friendship and love by fellow members. As I said it's about the process of repentance, and taking the time during the sacrament to really focus on that.

Jehovah's Witnesses do.
There is another verse: 2 John 9-11
Everyone that pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God. He that does remain in this teaching is the one that has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For he that says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works.

Many are of the misguided belief that it is entirely up to them to save such persons, and bringing such into the company of believers has resulted in the false doctrines which are running rampent today. Read Proverbs; we are not to go near her house nor invite her into ours.

Heres some short solutions on your questions. No guy mediates between guy and God ., Jesus is the sole mediator between persons and God. The Catholic practice of actual each physique sharing in the ingesting of bread and ingesting of wine isn't supported in the Bible. for further info please be happy to e mail me. My solutions are subsidized by utilising what the Bible rather teaches.

Enough has NOT been said because your judgmental attitude indicates a desire to point the finger at other groups who (in your opinion) do not practice this punnishment as they should. You wish to imply, triumphantly, that only Jehovah's Witnesses carry out this biblical injunction. Well, you are wrong. Many Christian denominations de-frock wicked clergy and remove wicked members. But this isn't a competition, you know. It's not a race that will prove the group that does the most chucking out is the more biblical!
The JW practice is seen as the absurd and God-dishonoring practice it is when members caught smoking cigarettes are put out, yet those guilty of sexually abusing children in the JW congregation are allowed to remain! Even more ridiculous is the fact that virtually all the Elders doing the disfellowshipping are not Spirit-anointed Christians themselves! Let those Elders first become Christians before they deign to pass judgment on others who are, likewise, not Christians yet. The idea that millions of people who happily admit they are NOT going to reign as priests and kings with Christ are in a position to judge others makes a mockery of JW judgmentalism. Straws and planks.... enough said.

hmmm.. I don't see anything in those scriptures you quoted about treating people as outcasts who join another church.
which is what Jehovah's Witnesses do (so gleefully, just look at this question), I might add.
Conundrum, why don't you enlighten the class since you're spotless and enlightened?
