Out of the first paragraph on this website http://www.big-bang-theory.com/
"This asserts that some 12-15 billion years ago there was a suddenly expansion and explosion of all matter and energy out of an original point - out of literally nothing - and that not only space but even time began at this moment." They are saying that nothing exploded and here we are. Should this be called Science? I think that it should be called a fairy tale and thrown in the garbage.

This is a good website that explains the problems with Evolution.

Read one from a non Creation website
http://www.umich.edu/~gs265/bigbang.htm
"About 15 billion years ago a tremendous explosion started the expansion of the universe. This explosion is known as the Big Bang. At the point of this event all of the matter and energy of space was contained at one point. What exisisted prior to this event is completely unknown and is a matter of pure speculation. This occurance was not a conventional explosion but rather an event filling all of space with all of the particles of the embryonic universe rushing away from each other. The Big Bang actually consisted of an explosion of space within itself unlike an explosion of a bomb were fragments are thrown outward. The galaxies were not all clumped together, but rather the Big Bang lay the foundations for the universe."

Er, doesn't the fact that your source is a propaganda site thinly disguised as a science site bother you at all?

Are you completely without any conscience, any sense of right and wrong?

Re. the U.Mich site:

"Says about the same thing. NOTHING MAKES EVERYTHING"

No it doesn't. It says we don't know.

Are you utterly incapable of honesty, even when your dishonesty is out there for everyone to see?

Again my friend you see the typical one sided character of these people and there beliefs.. 'yawn' ..I've read some pretty silly answeres here today silly , silly ,silly,.lol...It's fascinating ...Really ..I have studied in depth all religions ,beliefs , theories ect..simply because I want to be informed ..it is my life and it is important ..and I was not raised in a church faith walking household no one has conditioned me..Or influenced my beliefs..And I actually worked for my knowledge rather than click a mouse I did the whole old school read a book thing visit the library ..lol... Ahhhh-Remember when ! I do however study on here occasionally too! Your questions are legit , and so are thier's but the problem is .. Our side and thier side have different 'Presuppositions...._ things assumed to be true without being able to prove them, which then becomes basis for thier and our conclusions ..We need to put on thier glasses they need to put on ours ..then we can begin to understand each other better! then comes understanding why we believe what we believe and why they believe what they believe ..Then we can communicate better..Most people are not like me and don't study in depth everything , searching and testing truths ,ideas , theories ect....some people will believe anything , like this idea of evolution..It was made up by some human being are we to believe everything that comes out of peoples mouth ..lol..not hardly ..not me...much destruction has been wrought because of this and things taught like this before this...lol.....And as for school I think if you're going to teach one side you should teach both sides and children should be able to choose for themselves and as it stands now they have not that free choice ? What does that say ? I studied some documents once ..and here it is ..some evolutionists were given a bag of bones at an archeological dig- they were asked to put it together and find out what it was_..They painstakingly with great care and thought put these bones together ..and when they were done we had a new little dinosaur with a cute name , habits ect... What they didn't know was it was indeed "POODLE BONES" ....dare I say more and this is just one of many things the general public will NEVER know. and with that being said read this..colossians 2:8 - "Beware" lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and" EMPTY DECEIT"
according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ!..Good luck today my friend with all of your answeres ! I know they will be mean ...love then anyways ..lol...and btw- I am not a christian I don't like religion but make no mistake I am in love and devoted! Leah...

First, you've confused a description with an explanation. The "Big Bang" theory is an attempt to describe the origin event of the Universe, not to say "why" it happened.

Second, the Big Bang description could be totally wrong and it doesn't mean anything for the Theory of Evolution, which is a description of how life on Earth developed after both already existed.

Paragraph 4 from the front page of the same site.

Big Bang Theory - Common Misconceptions
There are many misconceptions surrounding the Big Bang theory. For example, we tend to imagine a giant explosion. Experts however say that there was no explosion; there was (and continues to be) an expansion. Rather than imagining a balloon popping and releasing its contents, imagine a balloon expanding: an infinitesimally small balloon expanding to the size of our current universe.

You seem to be mis-representing what was said

In the beginning there was nothing.. Then it expanded (exploded) into equal amounts of matter and anti-matter. By a series of fortuitous events (more explosions) more elements were formed and conditions were conducive for humans evolution (lucky thing for you, huh). At some point in the future all things will come together again (with explosions) and we'll be back to where we started.

A little knowledge is dangerous.

In quantum physics something comes from nothing frequently. When dealing with extremes "common sense" shouldn't be applied.

Nothingness is current thought to be unstable and something is inevitable. But there is a balance of positive and negetive energy so in a sense, there still is nothing.

There is also M-theory and multiverse theories that may explain a cause for the Big Bang.

i savour your number of costs. regardless of the shown fact that, i've got faith you may desire to flow decrease back and evaluation the quoted persons and their theories greater heavily. You seem to misconceive their regular assertion of "foundation of the universe from not something," which in the regular public of contexts you exemplified, would be akin greater or much less to "a based universe arising via the interactions of gasses and debris." It does not actually recommend that no element existed, purely that no definitive form(s) existed. i'd additionally desire to declare, based a minimum of on the excerpt you have presented from Dr. Stenger, that I disagree along with his rationalization. If there replaced right into a God being able to maintain a state of nothingness, that god would be merely as able to turning out to be bored and beginning up introduction. i don't think that to be the case, yet I consent that Stenger's argument is vulnerable at maximum suitable.

Before the Big Bang, there was no universe. So you could say that all the matter existed, but didn't exist in the universe. Or you could say that another universe collapsing created our matter, and thus our universe. Science is still making new discoveries based on this.

And this has nothing to do with evolution. And what does the "nothing times nothing" have to do with this? I didn't see any math in your links.

Interesting that the Big Bang is a fairy tale that should be thrown in the garbage, but a woman from a rib and a flood that explains rainbows are literal truths.

you referenced the same website twice....

regardless of what you think, the big bang theory isn't the only school of thought on the subject, there is the "eternal energy" theory...as well as a number of others...try actually learning them before you spout off about them...

as far as evolution's concerned, the book is closed, the jury has decided, and it's officially "science" as opposed to "cdesign proponentsists"....

you think "magical sky fairy" should be a viable theory?
