I am an agnostic, which does NOT mean that I don't believe in god, I just believe that there has never been proof of a god. And please don't give stupid replies, like, look around you for the proof. That's not divine creation, it's just evolution, which even I can prove. So, in essence, the fact that I believe in one less god than you, shouldn't make me a target for such bigotry. After all's said and done, it's a belief, and I don't believe it.
Convince me with logic and sound argument that I'm wrong, if you can?

ok first Adam, I have to put this. I am Christian and I do not drink! I am also a mother of 5 and been married for just about 10 years! I am not a bad person and I do not appreciate your comment!
Ok now, I do not have enough space to tell you everywhere I see God! No, I do not believe in evolution because if it were real why don't we see it? Why don't we see something half way through it? Anyway, you are right about one thing. Faith is what someone believes in. I put my Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! I pray that you find the truth before its too late.
I see God every time I look at my youngest daughter. She was born 10 1/2 weeks early and weight 3 lbs when she was born. The Dr's said that she might make it if she did she would be disabled because things were not developed all the way. Not enough. And the modern medicine could not make them develop fast enough. That it would be a miracle if she was ever off the oxygen. She would be in the NICU for 11 weeks min.
Ok, thats what they told me, heres what happened.
She was off all oxygen when she came home 6 weeks after she was born. All of her organs have completely developed, she has NO problems and is now a healthy 4 year old! Who is learning to read! No delays not damage no way of telling that she was so small at birth!
After what the Dr's told me and looking at my daughter now, how could I not believe that God is the reason she is alive today! I have lots of other examples but I dont think you want them.
You have you beliefs and no body is going to change your mind if you do not want them to. I am afraid that you just wanted to cause a squable. I will say a prayer that someone plants the truth in your mind and that it grows!
May God bless and help you to grow!

Here is your statement: "So, in essence, the fact that I believe in one less god than you, shouldn't make me a target for such bigotry."

Now, my reply:
That makes you an atheist, not an agnostic. Restated, if you do not believe in God, then you are an atheist.

If you are not sure whether you believe in God or not, then you are an agnostic.

When you consider that God knows your thoughts, that can be a staggering realization. He can give you a breakdown of the various elements in your PC that you're using right now, and the proton and electron count of that PC.

It is my hope that my reply was not offensive in nature.

The proof you require is in the Old Testament prophesies in the Bible.

God said that after He had sent the people of Israel into exile in Babylon for their idolatrous ways, there would be would be a time when they would be scattered into all nations. But, they would be regathered back to their own land.

This happened and is still happening to this very day. But when people looked at these prophecies in the late 1800's, before the start of the regathering, they could clearly see that this was due to happen and spoke openly of it.

Anti-semitism, persecutions, pogroms and the Holocaust have all played their part in driving the Jewish people out of the lands that they had been scattered to. Not all went to Israel but there were times when they were flooding back in.

The Bible tells us that the Jews, His chosen people, would become a proverb and byword and so witness to the way the LORD God reacts longterm to mankind's sinfulness.

But, the Jewish people still do have a positive role ahead of them, we are told, when Jesus returns.

Logic is a man-made construct. We have cartesian logic, Aristotelian logic, Socratic logic, etc. There is no reason to think - wait, I mean it is ILLOGICAL to suppose - that logic would ever be consistent with or able to grasp something meta-physical. All people of faith will tell you they experience God subjectively and directly ad so all objective proof of God, the Kingdom of God, is within you. And there is no amount of thinking that can access it, in fact a racing mind is the surest way not to stop and let your ego slide away long enough to uncover that eternal energy that is always already the case.

There has been archeological discoveries that have confirmed things in the bible. God would be the only one able to create the universe, and that is absolute power. I would not want to be on the recieving end of his wrath on judgment day. And you can't prove evolution it's only a theory and a lame one at that.
Do some checking on archeological findings. God is alive and well on planet Earth. Unfortunately, so is Satan....But we christians know how the game ends....

Have you ever heard of "The Missing Links?" There's no fossil evidence of our "Evolution" from monkeys.

Two, The chances of life coming from random shuffling of amino acids (tested in the 1980s) is 1 in ten to the forty-thousandth power (40,000 0s)

There's proof of a God alright.

How about the miracle spring in Lourdes France? (29 medically unexplainable miracles and it's still there)

Then there's Our Lady of Guadalupe (tested and proven to be no ordinary tilma)

God could come down from heaven, tap you on the shoulder and say, "I'm God" and you sill wouldn't believe that it was God that touched you. Faith is what makes us Christians Christians. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. You ether believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ or you don't. It just that simple. God bless.

That is like saying to you, "convince me there is no God". You cannot because I have seen the Holy Spirit, I have had every prayer answered. I have had so many wonderful things happen I cannot deny that he exists.
Convincing you ,in my opinion, is not possible. You will have to open your heart. Pray and study the Bible. Then when God chooses he will show himself to you.
