You know, a turkey, son of the turkey god that died for the sins of all other turkeys that will allow all of our (U.S.) Thanksgiving turkeys to enter into the Kingdom of Turkey Heaven?

It'd be kinda sad if there was no Jesus Turkey to offer salvation to all those yummy turkeys about to get eaten.

What if my oven is like a turkey tomb and just when I'm about to serve my turkey, it turns out my turkey is the Jesus Turkey and it resurrects and runs out my front door? Can I get a refund?

I mean we all know that the bible says that the Jews are Gods chosen people, Does it ever annoy Christians that God shows favoritism?

Morality

So do they just insert words for the title and say "you can buy "X" at ebay!"...

Or is today's society turning morality into a commodity that can be bought or sold?

( I think its the former )

There is no evidence that for the first 300 years after Christ’s death, those claiming to be Christians used the cross in worship. In the fourth century, however, pagan Emperor Constantine became a convert to apostate Christianity and promoted the cross as its symbol. Whatever Constantine’s motives, the cross had nothing to do with Jesus Christ. The cross is, in fact, pagan in origin. The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits: “The cross is found in both pre-Christian and non-Christian cultures.” Various other authorities have linked the cross with nature worship and pagan sex rites.

Why, then, was this pagan symbol promoted? Apparently, to make it easier for pagans to accept “Christianity.” Nevertheless, devotion to any pagan symbol is clearly condemned by the Bible. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18) The Scriptures also forbid all forms of idolatry. (Exodus 20:4, 5; 1 Corinthians 10:14) With very good reason, therefore, true Christians do not use the cross in worship.

In the bible, Genesis is the account of our creation. Let's for a moment assume the bible is the infallible word of god-- I mean, if it is devinely inspired, don't you think god would not allow it to be misinterpreted? And for those who make excuses for this unexplainable chain of events.... if I am not to believe THIS part of the bible, why should I believe ANY of it. It is either right----or it is wrong. Period.

As a baby or as an adult? What is your take on baptism? Sprinkling? Immersion?

Is it necessary for our salvation to be baptized?

What are your wiews on them.
This was mainly brought to my attention when my sister took me to her church as an attempt to evengelize me..I felt that the church was just ridiclous. It was humongus, like a college campus..They have a whole bunch of unessacry things like empty buildings and rooms, and really if they are suppose to 'preach the word of god' then why do they need all of this stuff. A stadium abel to fit 'round a thousand and cameras and backdrops and things..really they'd probably raise more money then a whole county PTA in one night nad just use it on other useless crap..
So what are your views on 'Mega Churches"

How many of you actually believe that morals come from religion? Does this mean you think people who are without religion have no morals?

We recently moved to a small town in Ohio called Troy, Ohio. Upon visiting the county courthouse i noticed a monument on the lawn, around 5 feet tall which had the ten commandments written on it. Myself, it didnt bother me any, but i know it would bother others. I have heard of similar cases of the Ten Commandments being posted at schools and other courthouses across the country and being forced to be removed. How is it that it is able to remain in my town? And would you protest such a monument in your town at a courthouse, public school or other government building?
