sin is not acceptable to God. all we can do to please God is to accept Jesus Christ as our personal lord and savior. sin can never be acceptable to God but because we are humans we are not perfect and we are going to sin. that doesn't mean it's acceptable but we can ask for forgiveness and the bible says that if we are saved and we ask for forgiveness we will be forgiven. that does not mean it's acceptable.

Living life in sin without knowledge or by reason of free will is NOT acceptable to God. That is why He gave us the instructions to live sin free and the commandment to love Him and each other. Scriptures you have mentioned support that God does not like sin.

I agree. Anyone who believes that God wants us to live sinful lives must not be following God. While we do sin, sin is not a good thing! It's a result of human but it is not an acceptable excuse to do all sorts of evil.

Because so many supposedly "devout" people often live such outrageously sinful lives. I reckon they figure if what they are doing is sinful....at least they are not "pretending" to be without sin. They get it honest at least. I would hope that the "Good Lord" might take that under advisement.

We as Christan do strive to be Holy even as our Father is Holy. But I have learned that I can never be perfect. My flesh is weak , my spirit is very willing. But as I grow, It becomes easier to walk not after the flesh. But I know Jesus loves me and He knew that I couldn't be perfect. That is why we no longer need the blood of bulls and goats. That sacrifice wore off after each sin.Only the rich owned that much cattle.
Jesus forgives us, He knows our hearts.
Please don't try to tell me you are perfect.<><

religious people sin... it is impossible for a human not to sin. so although we know about sin and try to prevent ourselves from sinning it is impossible to completely sin. the reason this is is because even angry thoughts or any kind of impure thoughts are sin. understand? its just impossible

i dont believe it is possible to live completely sin free. i believe we must do all in our power to refrain from sin and repent when we do sin. God forgives. if he didn't, he wouldn't have let it start in the first place.

"Women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says." (1 Corinthians 14:34)

"If any man takes a wife, and goes in on her, and detests her, and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings a bad name on her, and says, 'I took this woman, and when I came to her I found she was not a virgin..." (Deuteronomy 22:13,14)

"But if ... evidences of virginity are not found for the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones..." (Deuteronomy 22:20,21)

"One of illegitimate birth shall not enter the congregation of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 23:2)

"Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ." (Ephesians 6:5)

The bible is not ment to be taken literally. Who are you to decide which of gods words are to be obeyed and which not?
