That God cannot be proven to exist or to not exist by scientific means alone. I am a Christian and I think nature and creation is irrefutable proof of the existance of God but I will be the first to admit that it is scientifically impossible to prove that He does exist quite simply because no one was there to see the creation of God who has always been. The same goes for the Big Bang and Evolution. I beleive we all put too much stock in science when it has in the course of history been proven to be terribly wrong after every 50-100 years. So can we all at least agree that science can not prove our sides and that our entire belief system although possibly benefited by science the main reason we BELEIVE is because of faith?

When I drive through town in my old car, the police and preachers all give me dirty looks; It's a beat up, multi-color cavalier. When I drive my girlfriends Blazer, they pretty much ignore it completely. When I ride my motorcycle, they ALL smile and wave! What is the deal? Do people really make that much of a difference based on what you're driving? The question is about the police and preachers (small town, I know em all), because they stand out in a crowd, so it's easier to see the difference.

Okay, in the past I have brought up some bible verses that are a little confrantational, such as, if you eat shellfish or work on Sundays you shall be put to death. Everyone always tells me that we do not follow the old testimant and that ****** JEBUS took those rules away. Why is it then, that we still believe that jesus thinks homosexuality is an abomination, when this verse is also found in the old testiment??

Like instead of Deadly, it could be Seven Pathetic Sins because all the qualities can be considered pathetic emotions. Just a reminder the sinds are: lust, gluttony, greed, envy, wrath, pride, sloth. Thanks so much. This does have a purpose and I need an adjective that replaces deadly but that has to do with the sins.

The devil promises a material paradise on Earth, which is false and immoral. Why should I accept one even grander? Why can't I reject handouts by our Diety and reject evil at the same time? Is my soul so wrong that I will lie alone after my death?

I mean come on wouldn't it make you feel better to pray and get the response of yes, no or sometimes. And the bible stories always make you feel all good and snuggly inside when one reads of incest, decapitation and tearing people asunder.

Why are Christians stoned for Jesus?

The Greatest Love Song
Do You Know Jesus
By Mike McCracken

(chorus)
Do you know Jesus?
And how He loves us
How He died just to save us
Just because, He loves us

Judas betrayed Him
Who once was His friend
They beat, flogged and scourged Him
To where He didn’t look human

A crown of thorns on His head
Just another place where He bled
Humiliated in every way
Why, they even tore His clothes away

And there wasn’t any time loss
To where, they made Him carry the cross
To drive nails through His hands
He’s more than just a man

And Jesus still loved them
After all they did to Him
He did this for us too
When He said, “Father forgive them,
for they know not what they do.”

Jesus said that there is no greater love that a man can give than that he lay down his life for another. Jesus did this for all those who believe. I wrote this out of the Bible so everyone will know how great Go

Ive just had a strange email from the person. Ive never even come across the person before. Its somebody who uses this catagory but i don"t even recall replying to any of their questions.

From: Chosen by Grace

Subject: hi

Message: "What kind of food do they serve in hell?"

The kind you earned for all the evil you knowingly did before God who gave the good law THAT YO DIDN'T, "DO NOT LIE" and that you a hypocrite obeys out of fear of the police and imprisonment while pretending it's because you are a good person, you hypocrite. The kind that causes you to cry out in sorrow forever wishing your tongue would stop burning for at least a second, yet know it will never stop because God hates hypocrites and mockers.

"You hate all who do wrong." - Psalm 5:5

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." -
Galatians 6:7

rofl Anybody else had the pleasure of an email from that person.

I was in a recent car accident, and I had a cross hanging on my rearview mirror, everything was destroyed except for where I was sitting, everything to the right of the cross was crushed and everything behind me was crushed by a semi truck.

Admittedly I am not extremely religious, I do believe in Christ, and I do go to church...probably not as often as I should have. But this person told me that by having a cross in my car it's like I am worshipping an object and not Christ. Could someone explain this? Or perhaps I interperated it wrong.

To any athiest who happen to read this, please don't rant on about how my beliefs are wrong. I respect your beliefs, and wouldn't impose my beliefs on anyone, so I ask that you respect mine.
