Jesus Was not God/
Son of God He was
(John 17:3) . . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?
Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?
As you continue your Bible studies, you will become familiar with many more Bible passages that have a bearing on this subject. They confirm the truth about the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit.—Psalm 90:2; Acts 7:55; Colossians 1:15.

God the father is one aspect of God. It was easier for man to see because of man's inspirations... But the Holy Spirit was always around. Man just had inhibitions from realizing the fullness of God.
Thus the first covenant with Abraham was the law. But not a single word of the law has changed. Just our understanding of the law.
Thus Jesus Christ came to earth to introduce the Holy Spirit,.. like only God could introduce the third aspect of the God.
They are all the same God,.. just three different view point of God. I think since Jesus showed separation between Jesus and the Holy Spirit, it aloud people to treat them differently. Thus when Jesus died,.. their view of the Holy Spirit didn't change.

If he was God, he would be God, whether in human form or not. The fact is, Jesus is NOT God, but the Son of God.

Christian teachings make no sense at all. Just look at your question, which is a typical Christian question.
Jesus didn't actually teach anything that the Christian church teaches. Nothing.
What they did, was to change the story about 'Jesus' to what you are told today.
The original story is in 'The Talmud Jmmanuel' text - it is about Jesus being a prophet, and not a saviour, Son of God, etc etc - which does not add up.
He taught about praying to your own spirit (the answer lies within you) and not to a non-existent God.
A lof of the world's religions have false teachings.

Because he was willingly limited to a human body during that time. He was no longer just spirit.

Jesus knew that we as humans would not relate to Him if He was not fully human. So He became human so that we could truly understand His love for us.

Where does it say that? What I remember He actually said was that He was leaving His Spirit behind for us. That was before His ascension.
