well there are many churches making the claim to be christian, some (if not most have to be wrong, .........(1 Corinthians 1:10-11) . . .Now I exhort YOU, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that YOU should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among YOU, but that YOU may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought. 11 For the disclosure was made to me about YOU, my brothers, by those of [the house of] Chlo′e, that dissensions exist among YOU. . .

When did the antichrist make his first appearence? (1 John 2:18) . . .Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour. . .

So the antichrist had his beginning with the apostacy that started in the end of the 1st century. & progresed with the Catholic church taking the lead now there are many

I have submitted this definition:
Talibaptist is a term derived from the combination of the words Taliban and Baptist. The term is used to describe Fundamentalist [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamentalist] Christians with a political agenda. The term is not used to reference Baptist only but rather all fundamentalist right-wing Christians [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_politics] that follow the teachings of far right-winged evangelical christians.

The term implies that the extreme Christian-Right has a similar goal to the Taliban in that they seek to enforce religious laws and create a theocratic state. They are often seen to be misogynistic and have an agenda to control others by passing legislation to mandate their particular brand of faith and morality upon people that do not share their religious beliefs.

If I died as a male (one spirit!!) went to the afterlife and chose to go back as a female in the mortal world (new spirit!!) wouldn't that mean mean that i'd have/be 2 spirits??

basically what i'm saying is through my own curiousity to reincarnate wouldn't I be "giving birth" for lack of a better word to a new spirit and it would be independent from me...even though it is me......

However, do you think that when we initially get there and are judged by Jesus (the believer's judgment) that we will have regret for the time in our lives that we've wasted in not serving Him?

I'm just curious what others' thoughts are on this. I *do* think that there will be regret --- not lasting regret, but regret when we get there. What do you think?

KJV
12For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

YLT
12and I have passed over through the land of Egypt during this night, and have smitten every first-born in the land of Egypt, from man even unto beast, and on all the gods of Egypt I do judgments; I [am] Jehovah.

When people generalize you based on your religious beliefs?

When you say you are a Christian, they automatically assume you are some bible-thumping, tobacco spitting, gun toting hillbilly with an AK47 pointing at Iraq.

When you say you are Muslim, they automatically assume you're buying a ticket on the next flight to kill yourself and hundreds of other people.

When you say you're Jewish, they roll their eyes and think that you're the cause of the whole problem.

Doesn't anyone see anything wrong with this?!
We're all PEOPLE.

Sigh. Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

That 1500 mile cube, it's not Heaven, it's the capitol city of Heaven called "The New Jerusalem". If a city in Heaven is that Huge, than that must mean Heaven is bigger than a giant star.

Maybe Heaven can be everybody's own personal Earth since there are billions and billions of stars in space.

that THE BIBLE SAYS (not me, the Bible) that you are on your way to hell because you are too self righteous to repent? If you refuse to admit that you are a sinner, you cannot be saved. If you have sinned, there is hope for you in the shed blood of Christ, his burial, and bodily resurection. But those of you who claim no sin... did you know that you have called God a liar and you are bound for hell according to the Bible?

why does god get credit whenever something happens good and human's take the blame whenever something bad happens.

if we have free will....and thats what causes our misery, than shouldn't our free will also cause our triumphs.

either god needs to take the blame when things go in the toilet, or we need to stop giving him all the credit when things are A-OK.

"We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes." ~Gene Roddenberry

I don not understand the so-called logic behind this. Just look all around you. Everything you see points towards God.

Do you agree?

How is it that Jews are the ones who are taking over the world when the religions that are blaming the Jews for it (Christianity and Islam) are the ones who are either vigorously trying to convert other religions to their own (done in the past by inquisitions and today in the horrible form of preaching and Jehovah's witnesses :-)) or blowing themselves up against the other religions because they think that their religion is the right one and others arent worthy to even live, let alone convert (this is Islam by the way)

oh and for those who think im attacking other religions and want to report me just know that im asking all these questions purely for the sake of debate and my own knowlege, not to offend anyone, and if i did, i am truely sorry.

Christians have their cross, Muslims have their crescent moon, Buddhists have their fat Buddha statutes, Jews have their ninja star and Atheists don't need to use anything.

But what the heck do the followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster use? Spaghetti? That's impractical to carry around. Have there been a higher number of Vampire attacks against Pastafarians for this reason?
