Disagree. You said, "Everything around you points to god." I don't see it that way. Nothing I have ever experienced leads me to believe that the universe is ruled by a creator/supreme being.
It's really very simple;
1. All religions teach different things, but they can't all be right. 2. If they aren't all right, there are two options
2a. They are all wrong.
2b. One is right, the others are wrong.
If 2b is is correct, wouldn't the right religion be obvious to everyone? If there was only one god, then polythesism would have gone away a long time ago. If jesus is the savior, then there would be no muslims or jews.
A god who answered prayers would have no competition from gods that don't exist.
The only logical conclusion is that all religions are wrong. Gods are products of the human imagination and we have outgrown that kind of mythology.

No, I don't agree. When you look around you what you see is the result of nature and man.
A better question would be why would anyone believe in god. Nobody has ever seen it, talked to it, listened to it. There is not one iota of evidence - anywhere here on earth or in the universe - that such a being exists.
All there is are fairytales written by old Jewish men who have been dead for thousands of years.... Men who didn't understand the world around them, the events that nature shows, who believed the earth was flat, who believed in spirits, both evil and good, who had no knowledge of anything beyond their town and immediate area.
Foolishness.

Easily.....
DO NOT Agree.......
I look around and appreciate what is there just as I look to the heavens and the stars and appreciate what is there too!.
I travel and have never once seen an entity sitting in a cloud. But I still appreciate the cloud. All the space traveling that has been done and the dishes that are out in space have never seen a cloud with an entity sitting in it either. Look at the pictures that NASA puts on line.
You have your opinion - I have mine. We disagree.....

"Everything you see points towards God."
Do you mean the murder of my grandparents by a 14-year old mentally ill boy? Or Jeffrey Dahmer - a homicidal necrophiliac pedophile cannibal? The attacks on the WTC where almost 3,000 people were murdered? If this is pointing towards God, then I don't want to "god" to exist. There are 3,000 beliefs of deities on Earth - which of the 3,000 is the right one? If God is omnipotent, why have 2,999 false gods vying for his attention? Try again.

Explain how it points to god? What is the evidence of that?
You claim to see something and then you jump to the conclusion that god made it. However, you have no evidence that a god even exists much less that a god made something.
If you want people to believe in a god, then you need to provide solid, concrete evidence of a god existing. At least, give solid, concrete evidence that paranormal exists. That would be a good step. However, no one has been able to do that so far.

I Believe in Mother Earth and the universe. I believe in Gods and Godesses, Angels etc. Everything in this world is of the earth, as much as the earth can grow and be reborn so too can the earth distroy itself.
The God you are talking about as in the Bible God, I can not say I do or do not believe yet I dont believe in many of the things that are written.
So how about you answer this question for alot of us.....IF God as in the Bible is real.....why then would he create such chaos with Tidle waves, Volcanos, Hurricains, etc. Why would he WANT men, women, children and even animals to die or suffer in such a way? CAN YOU ACTUALLY ANSWER THIS QUESTION?
For me, i believe this action is caused by mother earth. Its HER way of fighting back at us for what we do to her planet.

I love how when people ask this question and say that everything points to God but they don't give any evidence of such. HOW does everything point to God? It's easy to say this and that with absolutely no evidence to back it up but where's the damn proof?

What the hell kind of argument is that?
How does it point towards god? Which god?
Most things can already be explained by science. And science will figure the rest out eventually.

No.
My monitor points to Dell, my printer to HP, and my computer to OQO.
Outside I see nature, red in tooth and claw. Actually, not so much since I'm in a city.
All I see happens without requiring any supernatural intervention from gods or demons or spirits or any other sort of being.

No. If everything did we would probaly be in heaven now with no wars and no people arguing over religions. But since thats not the case, "How could YOU believe in god?". I mean if he was real would we all believe in him? Think about that.
