That a JW elder abused me and is still a practicing pediphile, active as an Elder in one of youir congregations.

Why has not one JW contacted me or even asked who this predator is?

Do you want us to believe that you are really protecting your flock?

I've been really sad this week... perhaps most today:
- i really don't know what God wants from me.
- all i prayed for today was to win for once....and i lost
- what does God want me to do?
- how do I even know if my career choice is what God wants from me?
- how do i know He even cares anymore? :(

Advice please from wise Christians??? :(

The rich young ruler called Jesus "Good Teacher," and Jesus rebuked him saying, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but God."

Was Jesus denying that he was God to the young ruler? Jehovah's Witnesses think so. "Jesus was saying that no one is good as God is, not even Jesus Himself. God is good in a way that separates him from Jesus" (Should you believe in Trinity? 1989, 17 )

Look to the east in the eye of the storm, you will see a beginning and a new life form.
The age of repentance will soon descend, take shelter where you can, this is the end.

Why are they instructed to report the abuse to the legal counsel at Bethel, and not the police first?

but yet still choose to follow their own religion, which also has fantastical tendencies??
I mean, like Christianity, for example, having a huge following. Parting a sea? Being beamed up (to heaven) in a golden ray of light?? Does this not scream at people in todays world? I mean, I realise that people in the dark ages might have seen these things and thought there must be some all knowing being that can do magical stuff.. But then why persecute those others who seem to be able to do things too, and burn them as witches? Why laugh at, or minimise other people who believe in aliens?
Why go on mass killing sprees, (long ago), and kill anyone who doesnt believe, as heretics? How does someone say things like "murder is wrong, but if you believe something different than me, I will kill you"?
In todays world, why do people believe so strongly, and so easily, in a story, which in any other context, could be put in a childrens fairytale book?

Every time I come on here, I think of a poem, "The Cold Within" and how it relates to this section. It's saddening that this poem describes this area so well. I had started coming here to share my knowledge and to learn about other religions and points of views. Instead, All I see is hatred.

For those that don't know the poem "The Cold Within", it's about six people, huddled around a fire in the middle of winter. Each has a stick that can cause the fire to burn longer, but none give up their stick for selfish reasons. You have racism (one won't because another is black, and he won't because another is white), religion and economic status.

So, would you give up your stick to help light the fire if you were in the circle, or would you hold back because a Christian/Athiest/other belief was sitting across from you? Would you be burned by the cold within?

Have you ever experienced a dream and read about the same events in the news the next day? .. or week? Have you ever seen linkages between dream images and "outer world" which might be explained most easily thru some collective mind-sort of thing?

or felt like you ever "learned" things by "being around" people who already knew things?

ever noticed the "thought-field" existing when you walk onto a college campus?

ever noticed the "thought-field" existing when you walk onto a military base and notice how they're not the same?

ever felt great peace being around someone "spiritually in tune" with the universe?

or a contrary feeling being around someone who is not?

can you conceive of any application of the concept of 'collective unconscious' as explanation for any of these feelings ?
and others I can't think of at the moment ..

Well, I wanted to get a job at Staples. So I filled out the application, and they wanted references. So I wrote down Jesus. They wanted to know if I had sales experience, and having been going door to door selling Books about the deliverance our Good Lord has to share, and all of them being "cold" calls, I said yes. Well, I got an interview, and when I went in there, it was a woman. I asked her if she shouldn't be home taking care of her family. Well, she shrugged that off and wanted to know what hours I could work, well I quoted John 3:16 to her, and I could tell she was heathen because she stared at me with blank eyes. I told her that she should give me the job because God is righteous and she was probably a vile temptress to be showing me so much cleavage. Her blouse had the top button undone. Can you believe this tramp? Well , she said she would call me , but I know Satan must be working on her, so this is what I want to know, can Staples keep a good Christian down?
