Well, I wanted to get a job at Staples. So I filled out the application, and they wanted references. So I wrote down Jesus. They wanted to know if I had sales experience, and having been going door to door selling Books about the deliverance our Good Lord has to share, and all of them being "cold" calls, I said yes. Well, I got an interview, and when I went in there, it was a woman. I asked her if she shouldn't be home taking care of her family. Well, she shrugged that off and wanted to know what hours I could work, well I quoted John 3:16 to her, and I could tell she was heathen because she stared at me with blank eyes. I told her that she should give me the job because God is righteous and she was probably a vile temptress to be showing me so much cleavage. Her blouse had the top button undone. Can you believe this tramp? Well , she said she would call me , but I know Satan must be working on her, so this is what I want to know, can Staples keep a good Christian down?

Actually, I think you're too good for Staples. *-*
And, God Bless You, two.

You are kidding right? You really didnt want the job did you?
You were not being a good Christian, as you insulted the woman. Or is it being a good Christian to be insulting?
Sorry Jesus is not considered a good reference, they prefer someone they can call and speak too. It is obvious you sincerely did not want the job and made a mockery of the interview. I would not have hired you either, as you acted riduclously. I doubt if you behave like this for all your interviews if you will get a job.
Satan is not the problem, your behavior is. You just want to blame it on something other then yourself so you chose the scapegoat of Satan so you can use bad manners.
I don't even feel sorry for you. You deserve not to be hired. The sad thing is you will probably wind up on welfare and the good tax payers will wind up supporting your worthless self.

Did you really want to work there in the first place. I think you are having us on. When I read the actual question as it reflects the opportunity for someone to staple you to the cross for some reason or another. However in your rational you are applying for a job. Your application shouldn't have been accepted with out written references and I think that would have been in the too hard basket of getting one from Jesus. Although you could have produced references of Bible selling door to door and that in itself would have got you the job only you were smart *** at the interviewer who should have taken a intervention order and sexual harassment charge against your Christian views on life. Now that we all have pointed you in the right direction towards gaining meaningful employment are you going to apply for another job say on Yahoo.

pretty harsh -- jesus didn't judge the woman at the well, wouldn't let the hi priests stone the woman taken in adultery.
after you've been to the CRoss yourself, maybe you'll have some compassion for others
What is your church teaching you
If this is what passes for Christianity today, I'm getting a better understanding of why a lot of people don't bother with churches

good grief 8 Track, you have all these poor gullible hornswoggled Christians believing that you really did this preposterous thing and that you are really a Christian. Don't they have it bad enough already , what with having to listen to Billy Graham and Jerry Falwell when he was alive, and all those preachers who live in the South and dress in leisure suits and drive Cadillacs and tawk with a Suthun drawl y'all and pound on the Bahhbul jest a'hollerin' away 'bout some stuff whut JESUS done said?
I say, they have punishment enough. You are being naughty again. There may have to be discipline.

You call yourself a Christian? Did you pluck your eyes out? Just how long did you look at her cleavage?
I work with horses, so I am a five box of staples Christian, and I will be loose in about ten minutes unless you nail me to a hard wood floor. Run, 8, run!
Can I just stop now? Please, 8Track....I never did anything bad to you and you made me tee tee myself. QUIT!

Indeed, they kept me nailed to the floor until I broke free. Now I am a vile temptress, in fact, maybe it was me you interviewed with. Don't worry about working for us, we found another VT who is much more fun than you. ;-)
