Oh most definitely! For reasons beyond my knowledge though. With all of the people getting divorced and Straight people having sex out of wedlock, why do they focus (so much!) on homosexuality. Oh, and have you ever noticed that when people see two females together (lesbians) they look at it as if it wasn't a big problem. But if they ever saw two men walking hand-in-hand down the street or in the mall, people go out of their ways to snicker or say something about it.

If you want to be Christian about it(and even Muslim and a few other religions), ALL "sins" should be treated the same way......LET GOD JUDGE THEM (US)!

All 'sins' are equal in Gods eyes. In mans eyes, depending on who you talk to, Homosexuality is an abomination. Homosexuality is just more in the forefront of the news lately. If you did a poll of whether homosexuality, rape, or child molesting was a worst sin- I am sure homosexuality would not turn out to be the worst. Peace

In Britain when you gets Christians who always campaign against homosexuality when they think their rights will be violated. but when there's a new law on relaxing gambling laws etc, they're no where to been seen. This happens allot in Britain. When questioned on on homosexuality on TV, radio. They say Homosexuality is the same as any other sin. Pity they don't act like they believe it. Only care when they think the laws finally going to shut them up.

Most sin is equal, dear one. Though God did find it important to say that the act of homosexuality is an "abomination." That's a very strong word, so it must have some weight to it.

As for judging others; Christians are told to judge sin. We are to hate the sin, but love the sinner. Because God cannot look on sin, those living in unrepentant sin cannot belong to God.

God bless!

Among fundamentalists [some of them anyway] homosexuality is regarded like a second unforgivable sin along with blasphemy/unbelief. Regardless of whether homosexual practices are right or wrong, it's difficult to see how they can make such a big deal about and say that homosexuals are all automatically going to hell in a handcart. Only God knows the destiny of his precious souls, and I for one would not like to speculate on the spiritual state of anyone, regardless of my recent Rolling Stones question; we can't look at someone and assume they are going to hell forever. Personally I think we all go to 'Hell' for a while after death to burn off our negative karma [metaphorically burning that is.] If someone says they are are a Gay Christian or whatever, one has to respect that, whether or not we agree with their lifestyle we are taught not to judge. Maybe we ourselves have very serious 'planks in our eye' which we are not keen on others to point out!

No. There is only one unforgivable sin, blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

Mark 3:29
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven;he is guilty of an eternal sin."

Mark 3:30
He said this because they were saying, "He has an evil spirit."

The Bible categorizes it with many other sins. For example it says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

But as for degrees of sin Jesus speaks of worse sins being things like tempting others to sin.

No, it is just one sin amoung many. One can go to hell just as easily for stealing a candy bar, telling a little white lie, or coveting your neighbor's car. just one sin amoung many. All manner of sins including homosexuality can be washed away by the blood of Jesus. All is needed is belief, repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Come to Christ

The greatest sin is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, for it is the only unforgivable sin.

Hypocrisy and Those like Sodom and Gomorrah share the same fate. It is in the book of Jude.
