Does anyone else HATE this snide little comment? Because it's moot, it's beside the point. It has nothing of importance towards the pro-life/pro-choice debate.

The only way that statement would hold ANY value, would be if my was still pregnant with me...which if she was, I certainly wouldn't be here typing.

Only human beings wonder why the physical universe corresponds to abstract mathematical theorems. Only humans worship God.Human beings are conscious of time, reality, and truth. That is not at all like an animal is it???

Didnt God send Bob Marley to this earth ? I listened to Bob marleys music and the words are so from the scriptures and speak many spiritual things. He spoke constantly of peace and equality and " emancipation of the mind " from hatred. His message reminded me of Dr. ML King. I know he smoked pot but it was taught to him by his people that " God had said it was ok " and I am sure he went to Heaven in spite of that.

My friend said that because I am Lutheran, I am not a true Christian. She said that her church teaches that Lutherans, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, and so on are not really Christians because they don't take The Bible literally. She said that the biggest problem is baptism. Apparently her church believes that children are not to be baptised because they are not old enough to understand and that God wants us to be old enough to understand the meaning and to make a public testimony. Then she said, that confirmation is not needed and the that the seven sacraments of catholic belief are not accurate and so on.

I just read a question of someone else and this person answered, "Catholicism and Christianity are not one ant the same."
What? I thought that anyone that church that has God and the center of it teaching and beliefs and believes that Jesus is the son of God is supposed to be a Christian based church. Am I wrong?

My aunt has been divorced for almost 20yrs now. Basically, she married somebody very young, the person did not treat her well...etc. Now, this man she married had been married previously, so she didn't get married in a Catholic church. I know that if two people are married in the Catholic church, the only way they could remarry in the Catholic church again is if that previous marriage is annulled...but what her previous marriage was never recognized by the Catholic church to begin with....does it still have to be annulled if she wants to remarry or can she just remarry in the Catholic church since it would be the first marriage recognized by the Catholic church?

Anyone have any idea why the following answer would have been given a violation?

"I like the KJV but as long as the Bible has been faithfully translated I think any version is fine. I would make sure you avoid the New World Translation. It was rewritten by the JW's to solely support their cult."

Nothing that breaks the rules in it that I can see. Does appealing ever work?

And to make this a religion question do you believe in God?

Then why did God tell Moses and Joshua to go killing people?

I can understand if the armies of the other nations would fall against the Hebrews, but why did they have to go killing the women and children?! Doesn't that just make the ancient Hebrews like al-Quaeda?!

I have nothing against Jews. I want to stress that; one of my best friends is a Jew; my boss is a Jew(and he's a great guy).

And also, I know that in God's eyes the peoples' ancestors sinned, but the people in the cities at the time didn't know!! Why couldn't the Hebrews send profits instead!?

Pagans have their own path of belief that they chose to follow. With many Pagans, they have a belief that Diana is the mother goddess, she married Lucifer, they had a child named Aradia. The god Lucifer is not the christian satan, yet christians seem to think so. To Pagans, Lucifer is the bearer of light, and of knowledge. With Paganism, also comes Pagan Witch's, this to say if you believe in the god Lucifer (aka satan) then you are considered a satanic witch. I have been a Pagan satanic witch for the past 25 years, and there are many upon many more of us, to say tens of thousands, is exact. So when I read that young ladies question of her asking about Doctors. And I read the answers, I think many of you need to study Paganism more in depth. There are many religions out there, most likely ones you have never heard of, so if you don't know, don't answer. So what part of Paganism don't you understand, as Pagans are those who are not christian, jews or muslim.

I think science will always be one step ahead of religion.

Evidence:
Members of Church interpret the sun revolves around the earth.
Aristotle (scientist) said the earth revolves around the sun and was severely punished.

Evolution:
Bible says God created everything.
Charles Darwin claims Humans have evolved from monkeys. and scientist actually found Homo-Erectus bodies and old Homo Sapien bodies similar to the Homo Erectus

so i answered a q earlier tonight about abortion... every response was about how it is murder aside from 1.

just as your god gives you the choice not to support it- do you not belive that god gives liberally the freedom of choice to all of his children?? i am not religious- though i was raised very religious. i know the concepts of the bible.

so say a child is molested? what if someone's life is in danger continuing a pregnancy?

my personal view is- i do not in any means condone abortion as b/c or support late term abortions. but i believe not only is it every woman's right to chose, but also every man's.

personal experience: 19 yrs old, in college, working as an EMT making $6.oo/hr. boyfriend in same boat. we used b/c. because of antibiotics i still got prego. we decided together we wanted to have children but wanted to wait until we were able to give a child everything it needed and deserved.
am i really a "murderer" because of this? if so, why???

What religion was it that thought the world was going to end at the beginning of 2000?

Apparently there was some guy my dad worked with who saved no money, even for his daughter's college, because he thought Jesus would come back in 2000. I'm thinking it was Jehovah's Witnesses, but I'm not sure.

And please don't turn this into a religious debate. I just want to know the answer to the question. (By the way... if there is more than one religion... details please!)
