I can only think of some kids that I used to take care of that were handicapped. They were in wheel chairs and I think they had cerebral palsy. When they got excited or happy, you could tell in their eyes they were happy but they didn't really laugh. They might tense up and shake a little bit but they were incapable of talking or laughing. I was just a teenager when I volunteered at a handicapped camp so I didn't really understand what handicap they really had. I just helped them as much as I could. Just having a story read to them was exciting to them. I kind of miss those days. So many people need the help and kindness of others but don't always get it.
I originally thought of an unhappy person, sullen, angry...and I doubted if they had very high expectations which would cause them not to be happy so they would never laugh. Maybe they had high expectations that were never met so they became angry and sullen so they lowered all expectations....
But then I thought of someone physically incapable of laughing....they may have expectations they can never express...
I don't know Uncle Wayne...It's late. I should be sleeping. I'm gonna go back to bed. Sorry for the rambling.

I can confirm that Starjumper won't stop laughing. Ever! But she usually laughs at thing and situations that are not humorous. Like me slipping and breaking my leg ... yeah she will laugh her head off, etc. The greater the misfortune, the funnier it is to her. She will probably get an aneurysm from laughing when I die.

This one girl I know laughs at NOTHING that I say. Even if it's hilarious. And seriously, a few really hilarious things have happened while she was there. I figured she just never laughed.
Then this one guy who looks like he might be a character in a Soap Opera was in class one day and said something MILDLY funny and she laughed.
She just doesn't like me or something.

I have to say no to that one. I've never met anyone who doesn't laugh at something. Didn't know there could be people like that.

I have never met their expectations and what is worse I am Hell bound so I guess I never will because I am not changing my Faith for them little "squeezers"
(The Hell bound part was their doing)

I used to. Stressed out about everything, permanantly angry, died at 43 from a heart attack. For me, laughing is even more important than breathing. My greek mother in law shakes her head and states with disapproval that I will never have a white hair on my head. :)
"Humanity's greatest weapon is in fact, laughter." I forgot who said that, but it is true.
