the scriptures give the answer very plainly
(1 Timothy 6:16) . . .the one alone having immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom not one of men has seen or can see. To him be honor and might everlasting. Amen.

so then how will we know he's here? He is you know, I percieve his presence by seeing the conditions that he said he would return under, but the manifestion of him will be another thing.

(2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) . . .This takes into account that it is righteous on God’s part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for YOU, 7 but, to YOU who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. 9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength,

The Body is the home of Soul. We talk tireless of God and praise Him too. We go to places of worship as we think that we are duty-bound to do it. Yet we do not care of self-abuses of our body, His gift to us through our parents. We justify drinks to suit our thinking forgetting that excessive drinking can be a health hazard. If we are really god-fearing we will never indulge in these undesirable activities that harm our body and the soul – where we desire His presence all the time. Excuse me if this is a generalization. Do you agree with my arguments?

If Atheists have more faith, then it should take more to change their beliefs than it would for Believer [sic].

So, Atheist or Believer, what would it take to change your mind?

(Note: the failure to use the plural of 'Believer' was intentional to counterbalance the folks who can't remember the plural of 'Atheist' has a second 's'.)

Is it possible that this concept is not the correct one at all?
That eating from the forbidden tree actually lifted mankind above the plane of 'animals' and mankind became a, well, human being at that point?

The idea is a shopping-mall structure in which each major (and many minor religions) have a facility, whether informational or for worship or both. You could just shop around, pick up a little of this,a little of that and come home with your own customized religion. Opinions? After all, this is the 21st century!

Beliefs: We believe that Jesus Christ 2nd coming will be on Dec 12, 2012. We believe that ancient mayans calender prophecizes Jesus return. The coming of the New World Order. Biblical proof can be found in the trinity and numerology of this day.
Father, Sun and the Holy spirit.
Jesus had 12 disciples and it is the 12th day of the 12th month. Clearly evidence of Christs return.

Your job as a member is to spread the good word of our Savior Jesus Christ return. And to give up all your earthly possesions to the church by this day, so that "We" may return to heaven as we enterned the earth. Naked, Humble, pure, and full of Gods love. Presumably those that care about such things want people to get married in order to have a family, raise kids or even have sex. So why has our culture made the price of admission to marriage (i.e. weddings) so high? And do you think that there's anything immoral or unjust about that?

I heard, i think this was told to me by my ninth grade English teacher, that some schools are implementing a sort of midway between "there is no god" and "there is one", and basically what it is, is there is a "supernatural being" who created the earth, and then let evolution do it's job? This is what i basically believe in now, so... does anyone else agree or has heard about this? Heh, i call it "Emperorism" since i play alot of Dawn of War, xD. (you'll get what i mean by Emperorism if you play/know the lore of DoW. Not meaning to sterotype here though or anything.)

When I was younger, I was a totally devout Catholic. I loved it. I wandered away from the church when I entered High School (peer pressure, you could say). I have only recently found Catholic radio and started listening whenever I'm in the car. I absolutley love it and the message of the church. The problem is, while I have always been Catholic, I haven't been practicing. I used to go to church on Christmas & Easter but now I want to go every Sunday. My husband is an ethnic Jew, but a baptized Episcopalian and thinks the Catholic church is a bunch of child molestors and hypocrates. I want to go to church but am afraid of what he'll say... He's not ANTI religion, he thinks the Episcopal church is great but never goes. He just doesn't like the "opression" of the Catholic church. What should I say to him?
