I think they let us realize that other realms exist. They can definitely show us how out of touch with presence we normally are, but I think true spirituality is a way of life, and a drug experience is just a temporary thing. So, maybe to try the drugs once or twice is okay just to show us something, but I think it's not a good idea to use them on a regular basis.

Did you know that the Flesh (Physical Body's) can keep you from getting into The Spirit?

Especially if it's in Pain.
SomeTimes, you have to get Others to Pray for ya cause your too carnal from sickness or pain to Recieve from GOD yourself.

If your in Pain and you take a Pain Pill, it is Easier to Believe that you Recieve.

Hallucinogenics?
Haven't studied them much in the Bible.
I think it does say something about a drug in the Bible.
I don't like to talk too much if I haven't Studied it, but I'll say no to most drugs cause the ones there using today KILLS YA! (rocks.)
Very Addictive.

There is only two that I would research in the Bible.
Cocaine Leaves and Marijuana.

I Think Old Time sailers used hemp (m.j.) to make Ropes.
Do you Think that is where they got the Phrase: "Don't Rock the Boat?" :)

I AM not a M.J. Partaker (of it).
GOD said the Leaves of the Tree were for the Healing of the Nations (this is a Tree in Heaven-- I Think?)
Older People in other countries chew a cocaine Leaf to keep down the pain of Arthritis.

I Think when man condenses natural things, it messes it up.

I AM not condoning smoking M.J. (at this Time without anyother Deeper Study) I just think there might be a Deeper Reason for it being on the Earth.

I believe it depends on the person and their core belief system. Someone open to the experience may have a spiritual epiphany while someone else may not. It depends so much on the physiological structure of the brain itself, the health of the person, the environment around that person (including people), and so many other things. One person may have a spiritual awakening while another is terrified by the experience.

Yes, used for Initial Rituals or to honor the seasons
in many cultures. I looked into the eyes of grandpa
Peyotl. Now I know a bit better who I am and, that it
is not for everyone, least anything for "consuming".
"Medicine" in a sense the word is used by Natives.

Many different types of drugs and chemicals are conducive to spirituality. That includes the endorphins released when firey preachers whip their audiences into a "spiritual" frenzy.

As a former user, for me I have to say no. It was like the better I felt going up the worse I felt going down. I dont believe we can REALLY hear God when we're all doped up. God's high is natural with no side effects and no consequences. Im hoping that if certain religions are doing that they're not getting their s**t from where im from.

Yeah, one time on mushrooms I listened to "City of Angels" by 10000 Maniacs. Try that one! How can I say it? My mind was rising through some kind of abstract spiritual architecture up to yellow. It was unbelievably cool. All imagined, of course! Good, clean fun.

oh yeah, and I was staring at this at the same time:

Going hungry for a spell would be far better for the soul than taking silly drugs that distort people's thought processes.

Yes, did you know monks in the middle-ages smoked cannabis because it made them feel "closer to god" and let them "communicate with divine spirits" LOL.

I think God put everything on Earth (and the capability for science to make all things like this) for a reason. Whether it is to teach Man a lesson about what NOT to do, or to provide entertainment... He did it for a reason. Do what you please, if your conscience allows.
