I've been struggling through sin for the last 5 or 6 years secretly. I've several times told myself I would quit this habbit but it keeps creeping back up on me. So please anyone out there that will pray for me would be great! Thank you so much.

I am curious if others have tradtitions that they follow.
Rituals...Things planned with their children...
Basicly what does it mean to you and how are you spending it.
If you have a really good idea for something to do share it.

And why? What makes you like them so much?

Some of my favorites are:

John Piper --- John Piper's passion is that we PLEASURE in God --- that we serve Him out of an overflowing heart of love.

Tim Keller --- he is so incredible! He is *so* academic but so passionate about the Lord as well! I really feel that He understands the Lord's character, especially when it comes to the poor.

and Rick Joyner --- He's a prophet. He's very humble. :

Who are some of yours? :)

do you just forget about all your sins after you've prayed and/or confessed?
thinking that somehow your sins will be forgiven and you can very well just get away with all of them since you already asked forgiveness?

I have been experiencing Christians throughout my life and I have heard lots of stuff from them.

They go around searching for victims to join their evil cult as a daily basis.

One time I saw a Christian trying to convince a Buddhist to convert and I heard the Christian lie with both of my ears.
She said "You know even the great Galieo was a Christian too." Whatever.

Now all in a sudden there is this new trend of Christians calling themselves "Born again Christian"!

How come you never called yourself a born again Christian before and all in a sudden you start calling yourself that?

Do you Christians think that you are cool by calling yourself that?
Is it some kind of a fashion for you?

To me you sound like an idiot Christians!

Born again Christian HaHa!
As calling yourself a Christian wasn't pathetic enough!
ROFLOL!!

I have been a Christian all my life, but found that after many years, my heart isn't in it. i felt guilty for leaving Christianity, and was comfortable in Wicca, but after looking at Wicca online sites, and all the many terms, I feel so swamped with info, I am about to forget it all and just stay a no-religion person! When I was into Wicca, a solitary practitioner, I was happy, till a group of Christians came to my door and told me I was going to hell, then I reverted back to Christianity out of guilt. Well, I also didn't have the memory problems I do now, because of a bad thyroid, and so i am intimidated by all the terms, and symbols, I see on some of the sites. I started with Silver raven wolf's book, and that was all i did. I'm not young, I 'm 40, and in need of help on this. I do not want to be part of a coven, just want to familiarize myself with Wicca again. The reason I left Christianity is because the answers I got from the ?'s i asked, were not to my satisfaction.Help!!

"Now when evening came David arose from his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful in appearance. So David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, 'Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?' And David sent messengers and took her, and when she came to him, he lay with her; and when she had purified herself from her uncleanness, she returned to her house. And the woman conceived, and she sent and told David, and said, 'I am pregnant.'"
2 Samuel 11:1-5
This is outrageous. In it we find nudity, covetousness, forced sex and illegitimate pregnancy. No one in their right mind would expose their children to these disgusting activities, and yet we can find even more despicable sexual activity if we look a bit further.

This is a serious question. Alot of people live with fears but one thing I have always noticed in the bible was Jesus would say fear not. The angels said fear not when they would visit. So I want to know if Christians are living fearfully of something.

Is Wiccan a religion?
What do they actually believe in?

From what I heard, its just a fancy word for people who believe in magic, and witches, and all that stuff.

a black man from Texas wrote this...

When I born, I BL ACK,
When I grow up, I BLACK,

When I go in sun, I BLACK,

When I cold, I BLACK,

When I scared, I BLACK,

When I sick, I BLACK,

And when I die, I still BLACK.

You white folks....

When you born, you PINK,

When you grow up, you WHITE,

When you go in sun, you RED,

When you cold, you BLUE,

When you scared, you YELLOW,

When you sick, you GREEN,

When you bruised, you PURPLE ,

And when you die, you GRAY.

So who you callin' colored folks?!

Why did he tell us to obey his commandments? why did he tell us to become holy? It seems as tho' there is alot of to do things in order to enter life eternal.

It was a board game with little plastic disciples for players, and when you landed on certain spaces you had to look up a Bible verse. Anyone know where I could get one now?
Thanks.

What is the oldest religion that has survived to this day? I am thinking either Zoroastrianism (sp?) or Hinduism but I am not exactly sure.

Also, when did the prophet Zoroaster live?

Let's pretend God and Satan exist and that Jesus was indeed a manifestation of God.
-He didn't fulfill the messianic prophecies
-He only managed to convince an extremely small group of people.
-He only stayed in the Middle East. You're an allpowerful being yet you can't teleport to save a couple billion souls. Maybe if Jesus would have went to other societies as well and he would've shown them proof, we wouldn't have other religions.
-No documented primary source other than the bible(If you even consider the bible a primary source) has more than 2 sentences about him.
-Crucified. Sure, Christians view it as the ultimate sacrifice. But really, how bad is it to die when you're ever-living. 3 Days in hell to an all-powerful being is nothing. Like the Romans would've actually stopped crucifying him if he felt he didn't want to die.
-If it wasn't for Constantine and the Roman empire, we wouldn't even know who Jesus was

Is it someone who is *severely* demonized? Can a sociopath be healed?

I ask this because I have read statistics that seem to indicate that up to 4% of Americans are sociopaths. Just a note, in Asian countries and other places where individualism isn't so championed, the figure is closer to 1%.

Just for reference, from Webster's: a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.

In other words, this is someone who enjoys controlling, manipulating, lying to and hurting other for its OWN sake and who feels *no* remorse in doing so. We often associate serial killers with sociopathy, and this is true, but *most* sociopaths are not violent or at least not killers.

Sociopaths *never* seek psychiatric help since they have no conscience and feel no need to do so. The only time they are ever studied is when they are in prison and the state mandates it.... continued ...
