Let's pretend God and Satan exist and that Jesus was indeed a manifestation of God.
-He didn't fulfill the messianic prophecies
-He only managed to convince an extremely small group of people.
-He only stayed in the Middle East. You're an allpowerful being yet you can't teleport to save a couple billion souls. Maybe if Jesus would have went to other societies as well and he would've shown them proof, we wouldn't have other religions.
-No documented primary source other than the bible(If you even consider the bible a primary source) has more than 2 sentences about him.
-Crucified. Sure, Christians view it as the ultimate sacrifice. But really, how bad is it to die when you're ever-living. 3 Days in hell to an all-powerful being is nothing. Like the Romans would've actually stopped crucifying him if he felt he didn't want to die.
-If it wasn't for Constantine and the Roman empire, we wouldn't even know who Jesus was

Slater- If he was a regular guy, of course. But for a God, he could've done MUCH MUCH better.

Way to address the question edge and balla. According to Christian mythology, he did. If he didn't wouldn't that be even worse? His sacrifice would basically mean nothing.

Mia- Why bother responding. lol You don't know anything. Jesus did not fulfill the Jewish messianic prophesies, why do you think there are still Jews? lol Barely any converted. Basically , Christianity was a cult.

Mithrian- Great, he didn't send them for the non-jews. Now explain why he didn't fulfil the JEWISH messianic prophecies?

forty55- Actually, a better question would be, what does that make you? You're spending your whole life worshiping someone who doesn't exist. Sucks.

We don't have to pretend. Pretty much everything you said is false. Jesus did fulfill prophecies and his own prophecies have also been fulfilled. There are only a few Christians because it requires giving up worldly things. Even though Jesus stayed in the middle east, Christianity has spread throughout the world via his disciples. And, yes, there is plenty of historical evidence that he existed. His crucifixion was meaningful because he was entirely innocent. He never sinned once and still took the punishment for all sins. It doesn't matter how we know about Jesus. We know about Jesus because of his followers throughout history. The point is that the word did spread as a part of God's plan.

Jesus was not a failure. I'll prove why he only stayed in the middle east. The middle east was where God's people lived. He wanted them to grow more spiritually. When his time was done, those people would continue his work . He was training the people in the middle east to continue his job after he was gone. That's the reason why there are more than 2 billion christians. HE DID NOT FAIL. He did his task here on earth and that was to die on the cross to save us from sin. Shouldn't you be thankful instead of telling these lies to all the christians and non-christians???

God sent Jesus only for the Jews and he was NOT to change the laws or create a new religion.

Jesus sent his disciples to the non Jews.

The Disciples, especially Paul, made CHRISTIANITY a new religion.

Paul made HIS religion the "gentile" version of the message of Jesus and added some paganism to make it attractive.

sources :

"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and imposters led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." --- Thomas Jefferson

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ is the greatest fiction of human history.” (Lord Bishop of Canterbury Commission, the Spiritual Head of England, 1910.)

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God, atonement are not the teachings of Jesus. These are all inventions of Saint Paul who never really met Jesus.” (Hastings Rashdall, The Theory of Good and Evil)

"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

“There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zoroastrian mythology. In order to hide Paul’s plaigerism… Christians burned the library of Alexandria in 390 A.D. Books in that library kept Mithra’s original story of what Pauline Doctrine is an almost exact copy. Jesus made some indirect claims to being God, such as claiming to forgive sins (for which he was accused of blasphemy) and the judge of the whole world. He also made some more direct claims. When Jesus was on trial He was asked the question, "Are you the Christ, the son of the living God?" he replied, "I am." After hearing this, the priest tore his clothes and said, "Why do we need any more witnesses? You heard the blasphemy!" This was because by claiming to be the Christ, Jesus was claiming to be God. (Blasphemy in their eyes) It was for this that he was put to death. On another occasion Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him. Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father, for which of these do you stone me?", "We are not stoning you for any of these", replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere human being, claim to be God".

If a man is claiming to be God then there are three possibilities for his identity. Firstly, he has completely lost his marbles and is deluded into thinking he is God when he isn't. Secondly, he is a liar and knows that he isn't God, but is tricking many people into believing that he is. Thirdly, he is God. Interestingly this doesn't leave open the possibility that Jesus was just a good bloke or a great teacher or a prophet from God.

Jesus did not go to hell for 3 days. I don't know where you get your information from but, I believe the Bible. Maybe you should get your facts right before asking a question like this.
