I 5 years old girl in my son's school was hit by a drunk driver... Doctor's did what they could do... The little girl was in a coma and on life support for 8 months and labeled completely brain dead... Doctors told the parents that there was no hope for their daughter and they should make arrangements for her funeral... One night while sleeping at her daughters bedside in the hospital room the little girl awakened from her coma... 3 weeks later this same little girl was in a coma, on life support, and labeled brain dead walks out of that hospital with absolutely no brain injuries whatsoever... She is alive, happy, and well to this day... Since "science" wrote her off and couldn't do anything for, how could this have happened?

does that make it really the only way? of course not!

same with religion. there are so many ways to God, and it's not just one specific religion or beliefs.

there are so many ways to accomplish the same thing, why are there so many people who think that their ways should be other people's ways as well. that's not right.

1. Where these people, righteous, do good works, do good for other people, feed the poor, be perfect, do not sin; religious leaders of that day?

OR

2. Where they thieves, murders, harlots, sinners and con artist of that day?

If it is question number 1, then why did Jesus choose a tax collector (a sinner) over a religious leader (proclaims to be righteous) in that day?
Mathews 21: 31–32
Jesus said “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.
Luke 18: 9 – 14 (the tax collector and the religious Leader)

If it is question number 2, then why do we act like the religious leaders of that day? We think that we must do good works, be righteous, holy, and say that we believe in God with our lips but not with our hearts, that we do not do his will?
John 6: 28–29 (what works shall we do?)
John 16: 8-9 (of sin; because they do not believe in me)
Mark 16: 15–18 (how do we do the will of God?)

OUTSIDE of religious writings, is there any proof at all that a Jesus of Nazareth ever lived? Both the Romans and Jews kept scrupulous records and there is no mention of him. The nearest thing there is, are writings by Josephus, who lived years later and also believed in flying chariots of fire in the sky.

Dinner conversation last night partially consisted of whether or not whites and blacks should date, marry and have kids. This family is a Christian family who say they have no other "problems" (in other words they aren't prejudice -- EXCEPT for this) with black people, just that the two skin colors shouldn't be mixed.

Is this in the Bible, that races shouldn't mix?
(Beside God saying that the Israelites should marry other Israelites. That was a religious issue, that they shouldn't marry pagans and idol-worshipers, not a race thing.)

I’m really not trying to be insulating or anything. I even went back to read old questions. I still don’t understand. Why do the Jews not accept Jesus as the Messiah?
