I was just reading The National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 and it says that for religious or medical purposes it was okay for people under 21 to drink alcohol.
Do you accept my apology?

marysia, it's no biggie for me to apologize *if* I was wrong...which I was. In my state a child can "furnish" alcohol if given to them by an adult....but they can't drink it(I dunno...it's on the website I put in one of my ADD detail in another question)
Anyway...that's what I thought was the law, but because of that act, religious and medical purposes are allowable.

Here it's OK for people to drink small amounts from the age of 5, buy with a hot meal at a restaurant from 16, and buy at a shop from 18, so I don't know where you're coming from.

Sure. apology accepted. However, it would have been nicer had you simply asked the question "Are Catholics breaking the law?", rather than being accusatory and insulting in the four or five original attacks you posted on this subject.
