Ephesians 2:8-9

8) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
9) not by works, so that no one can boast

So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead." --James 2:14

After all there is no creditable evidence that shows the devil did all the things that Christians say he did.

If you ask someone (i mean someone who really knows that religion) in the Catholic church, how are we saved. Here is the what the answer wil be.

They beleive the are saved by faith, Yes. But also saved by works. Huh? How can it be both? Either God saved us, because he is the author of faith. OR, we save ourselves by walking old ladies across the street, calling ourself Good samaratins, and counting how many prayers we said, and how many times a week we went to church.

The Bible teaches we are saved by faith alone, a free gift of God. God is the author of faith, and not us.

Works is saying we have the capability by ourselves, through baptism, through prayer, through works to get to heaven. I mean come on! It's one or the other!!! If we are saved by works, what do we need Jesus for then if we can DO anything ourselves?

We are saved by faith + Nothing. Adding anything to the cross if corrupting the word of God.

Chapter, Verse 1: And now in my vision I saw a beast rising up out of the sea...

Chapter, Verse 15: And the angel said to me, "The waters where the prostitute is sitting represent masses of people of every nation and language.

This means a beast rises out of masses of people?

I heard that Pope Benedict XVI said something like this, but I do not know for sure. Has any Pope in recent times said this? I think it would be a rather contravserial statement as most theologians would would probably argue that salvation could be found through any mainline denomination - or even none at all! Believing and following Christ's teachings found in the Holy Bible would be enough for this. Or would they...?

I'm curious because I've come across some who have said they are atheists, but I was reading something online that classified Wiccans and Witches as theists.

Why do you have a problem with this?

In the Old Testiment, YES THE BIBLE, Adam and Eve were covered in Coats of Skins to cover their nakedness when they were cast out of The Garden of Eden.
Our "Magic Underpants" as you people so insultingly call it represent that coat of skins given to Adam and Eve.

The Marks:
During the time of Moses, the Children of Israel were instructed to "MARK" the door and lintle of their house and the Distroyer would Passover them.

Therefore, this clothing is "Marked" in like manner as our body is the house of our Spirit. This is done Indicating to the Distroyer, to Passover this person.

THESE THINGS ARE BIBLICAL. PERIOD!

Trouble us NO MORE with your outragous questions and accusations.

Furthermore, any one of you who mocks this thing hereafter shall be visited upon by the selfsame distroyer as visited the Israelites in Egypt in the ancient days. This I commit upon each of you and dust my shoes at you. That you will never again mock us.

Earlier, I asked whether atheists who say that god does not exist (many atheists, including myself, do not say this, I must note) must shoulder the burden of proof as well as theists in the discussion of God's existence. Some of the responses I recieved said that atheists could not carry the burden of proof, since it was not possible to prove a negative (to prove that something =doesn't= exist).

So my question is now, does being unable to fully prove our position mean that we do not need to?

I know that many Protestants are aware of the Catholic ideas, and just don't agree with the theology. I understand and respect that, but what I am targeting in this question is the needless hate by protestants of percieved Catholic ideas that do not even exist! There are too many misconceptions of the Catholic faith by people that don't even understand it. Or if they, moreless believe something they think the Catholic church does is evil when, in reality, we do not do it and hold the same exact beliefs as them! On one hand it cracks me up at how stupid they are, but it also makes me want to spread the undebatable truth about what Catholicism truly is, so that my Church won't suffer the harshe persecution it has for the past many years.

If you have any REASONS why you or other Protestants disagree with Catholicism, print them here and I will correct you or reason with you.

P.S. I know athiests feel & frankly I don't give a damn.

2000 years ago it would have been heresy to deny the existence of Zues, Athena, Rha, etc. etc. Today, people look at these religions as archaic, myth, and good read for English class. In 2000 years, as religion continues to evolve (change), what will the new god(s) be like? Will Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and other religions PROBABLY evolve? Will these changes be for the better or worse?

Is being an Atheist also include the choice to not believe in "anything" without substantial evidence?

Using the parachute analogy, would the Atheist have faith that the parachute will open during a weekend skydiving adventure?

Or that the bungee cord will not break when jumping off a bridge after paying a company to set up the event for yourself and possibly others?
