Yes, repentance over a particular sin is acceptable even if the repentant insists on another sin which is of a different nature and not the same as the one he has repented. To take an example, if a man repents having accepted "interest money", but not drinking wine, his repentance over the interest money is acceptable, and vice versa, but if he repents simple interest but not compound interest then his repentance is invalid. So also if he repents drugs but insists on drinking wine, or vice versa, then that repentance is invalid too. It will also be incorrect and unacceptable if a man repents adultery with a woman but commits it with another. In all these cases they have only shifted from one variety of sin to another within the same kind. http://www.islamawareness.net/Repentance/

A well written Christian response to Richard Dawkins' 'The God Delusion'. I recommend that anybody who has read 'The God Delusion' reads it(It's a short book that you takes at most a day to read).

It's not the normal fundamental barking I've come to expect from many Christians. In fact, was written by a molecular biologist who believes in evolution.

Despite it's final conclusion (Might atheism be a delusion about God?), and a few bites at atheism in general, It was mostly even keeled.

Agree?

I am tired of people acting like God sends people to Hell. God provides the Holy Spirit which lets us know the gospel is true. It is a feeling that is undeniable. If we listen to this, it will send us to Jesus. To use an analogy, it is as if Jesus has thrown us a floatation device and we REFUSE to accept it. Who are we to blame Him if we drown?

We are all sinners. All us of lie, and cheat, and commit all sorts of horrible acts. We cannot get into Heaven by ourselves because no unclean thing can get into Heaven. This is where Jesus comes in. He was perfect, which means that He alone was able to die for our sins to be forgiven.

Agree?

I am tired of people attaking Christianity and taking the truth out of context.

God creates some people who's purpose in existence is to be sent to Hell. Is this concept Biblical?

I know God knows all and sees all. He knows the future and who will fail Him and who won't so can that be true that some people's existence is to fail God and be sent to hell?

Have you ever had an out-of-body or near-death experience? Did you see/hear anything that proved to you this experience was real? What was it like? Any noise? Do you believe you saw a vision of heaven, hell or was your experience neutral? Just curious.

I was real curious and I really want to know (I don't want to offend anyone). I'm a muslim girl and always wanted to ask this question but didn't get a chance to ask. Why is Jesus haves a special power and Muhammad is just a normal human. Like Jesus can bring dead people back to life and Muhammad is just...Muhammad. Why is that?

I don't. I refuse to believe that the first humans came from apes. This clearly goes against the Bible. Adam and Eve did NOT come from the uterus of an ape or monkey. Agree?

What is the probability that there is an invisible entity that's a nice guy but if you don't do what he says to do, think how he wants you to think, and feel how he wants you to feel then he has this place where he will torture you for eternity after you die? One more. What's the possibility that in concordance with this there is another invisible being that's trying to trick you and kill you....and get you to go get tortured with him by the nice guy?

1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor DRUNKARDS, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom."

They will not fornicate...

They will not commit idolatry....

They will not commit adultery...

They will not commit homosexual sin....

They will not steal or be greedy.....

They will not abuse/use alcohol.......

Looks like the 99% of Christians dont have the fruits God is looking for.

How many Christian men have NEVER fornicated in their life and how many have NEVER abused alcohol like a Drunkard ?

.."

I look back over all the stuff Ive read, films Ive seen and things I have done which got me to where I am now, and looking back, think over how they have shaped me.

Christians, don't feel excluded from this question, it is partly in response to how you draw on the Bible, and there are many books for me which have had just as much influence as that one has for you.

We shouldn't be ashamed that our beliefs may have been shaped by stories which inspire us, we should be proud of it. In ancient times storytellers and bards were held in similar status (under different law) to kings. Merlin and Taliesin were both weavers of story and Magick alike.

So..what books or stories inspired you to the beliefs you have now?
