Well, I believe Humpty Dumpty actually existed, and I have as much proof for it as you have.

To this very day I morn Humpty Dumpty's great fall. He was as much of a man as Adam was any day. Additionally, I truly believe that the Dumpster named all of the cool animals. Adam only named moles, c o c k roaches, pigs and such. I can't believe yahoo turned the word before roach into asterisks. Actually I can, but it's still rather childish.

Please show me you proof that Humpty Dumpty existed. I am most interested!
No we do not believe that Adam literally named all the animals. In fact, there are even now some new species of animals still occasionally found and they do not have names. We name them according to what species they belong to.
The naming in Genesis shows the humans have been given dominion or stewarship over the animals and the earth.

Adam did name the animals but since he did not write them down we don't know what the names were.

(You can continue to believe in your Humpty Dumpty if you are so convinced and look for those who might share your belief.)

Humpty Dumpty was not in the bible. The only great falls I know of in the bible are fools.

Since God judges by His word, that is good enough for me.

Good luck with your humpy dumy thing.

I am a Christian but I confess - I do have trouble with a literal translation of certain parts of Genesis.

And also Revelation, BTW.

Doesn't rattle my faith though. I'm sure if I'm still interested in such mundane affairs when I reach the other side, I'll know where to find the answer!

And also the Mormons believe that Adam with Jesus created the world under the command of God...
I think Adam had his purpose but I don't think he created the world and everything in it.

Um, and what do you call each one? A "tiger" or a booboo with stripes? An "elephant" or a big nosed ugly grey thing. Of course you call each animal something and that is a name.
